Minnesota Sophomore ID Camp: Team 17 Evals

Breaking down the performances of the prospects from Team 17 at the Prep Hoops Minnesota Sophomore ID Camp!    I've already detailed Timmy's performance in my Top Performers article, so there isn't much left to say here. Simply put, Timmy was one of the quickest players in the game, and was consistently using that quickness to get two feet in the paint and make plays. He could blow by defenders and glide to the rim for lay-ups, or stop on two feet and locate an open shooter out on the perimeter. Timmy opened up so many good looks for his teammates throughout the game.     Dunamis is a scrappy guard who brought energy to the floor defensively. At 5'6 he was sitting deep in a stance and getting up under opposing guards to make their lives difficult. Wasn't a big scoring threat but kept the ball swinging out on the perimeter offensively.     I got to the court for this game about a few minutes after tip-off, and just seconds after getting there Wesley drained a three from the corner to get his team going. He then knocked down another three with just seconds remaining in the first half to extend his team's lead. One of the better three point shooters I saw throughout the day who did a nice job of finding pockets of space out on the perimeter.     Isaiah is the type of player who just makes things look easy at times. He kept things simple which allowed him to convert with efficiency on the offensive end. In what was a close game throughout the second half, Isaiah came up with some key buckets down the stretch. He knocked down a couple of catch-and-shoot threes while also sprinting ahead for some transition buckets. Just takes what the defense gives him on the offensive end.     Adrian was relentless with his ball pressure out on the perimeter. Immediately after checking into the game he was causing issues for opposing guards with his intensity on the ball. Never took a possession off and was constantly looking to disrupt the flow of the opposing offense. On the offensive end he did a nice job of getting his bigs the ball down low. Whether it was out of the pick & roll or with an entry pass to the block, he did a nice job of getting them the ball in positions to take advantage of their size.     Jameson provided a three point shooting threat with some size out on the wing at 6'2. Playing alongside a team filled with size, Jameson was often tasked with defending smaller guards out on the perimeter. He was comfortable on the ball and did a nice job of using his length to get up in the passing lanes on the wing while also blocking a three point shot. Jameson also did a nice job of picking his head up after a defensive rebounding and look to pass the ball ahead.     Landon combined with [player_tooltip player_id='2848504' first='Liam' last='Jensen'] to form an intimidating frontcourt duo. While Liam was more of the bruiser inside, Landon was more agile and able to make plays with his mobility. He was getting up and down the floor with ease to keep up with the fast tempo, and defensively looked comfortable moving his feet against smaller players. Moves with a fluidity you don't always see in guys at 6'8. Flashed a smooth looking shot from out beyond the arc as well.     Liam was one of the most physically imposing players at the event. At 6'8 with a strong frame Liam knows who he is as a prospect, and rather than trying to make plays out on the perimeter like a lot of other bigs, Liam looked to play bully ball in the paint. If he caught on the block Liam was looking to go right through you to put two points on the board. He showed solid touch to finish off a lot of his looks, but even when he missed Liam was relentless battling or his own rebound and going right back up for two points. He looks to have taken a nice step forward since last year at the Freshman Showcase.
