High School Spotlight: Liberty Christian Lions

The season is still a few months away, but it is never too early to look ahead at the high school season. We will be taking a look at some quick hitters, the top player(s), a potential breakout player, other roster members, and more for the upcoming season. The guy who will once again be leading them in the backcourt is guard [player_tooltip player_id='2140408' first='Kendrick' last='Martin']. He returns as the team's leading scorer after averaging 17.8 points, 4.5 rebounds, 2.7 steals, and 2.1 assists per game. He is one of the more productive guards on both ends of the floor. The 6'2" guard is excellent as a driver, flashes his athleticism as a finisher inside, and rebounds well from the perimeter.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Potential Breakout Player: [player_tooltip player_id='2267054' first='Tywaine' last='Fuller Jr']<a href="https://prephoops.com/player/royce-bridgewaters/"></a></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The guy who will be running alongside [player_tooltip player_id='2140408' first='Kendrick' last='Martin'] in the backcourt once again is [player_tooltip player_id='2267054' first='Tywaine' last='Fuller Jr']. Coming back with loads of varsity experience, Fuller Jr. also returns 9.1 points and a team-high 3.8 assists per game. His elite quickness is always what stands out first and foremost when watching him play.
