I attended the annual AZ Compass Prep Fall League on three different days watching 15 games over those days. These teams are a combination of teams success and how they played when I viewed them. The players on teams that went undefeated or only loss 1 or 2 games are obviously placed a little higher. (Always some exceptions to the rules). As always these are NOT player rankings. Also some only played 1 game so many be lower down compared to some others who played for their team every game.

A powerful scoring guard finally looks healthy after a full year of being slightly injured. He can score it with off the dribble and catch threes, fall aways in the post, tough downhill takes in traffic and way above the rim explosive dunks. He rebounds well and makes good reads as a smart passer.

[player_tooltip player_id='2829293' first='Noah' last='Bol'] Sequoia Prep

One of the bigger post players in the junior class truly dominates inside. He protects the rim with gobbling up all boards, blocking shots and scoring with dunks, fall aways and keeps the ball high. He moves gracefully from end to end and his presence alone deters oncoming scorers.

[player_tooltip player_id='2115124' first='DJ' last='Childs'] Phhoenix Prep Hood

An athletic wing is a downhill type who can hit the three. He will score with reverse layups, offensive rebound put backs, alley-oop dunks, hard cuts off the ball, catch threes in the corner and had a nasty poster dunk. He is also super active around the ball.

[player_tooltip player_id='2532089' first='Darren' last='Ford'] AZ Compass Prep EYBL

A true combo guard who can seamlessly play on or off the ball. He can make a play for a teammate but is wired to score. He will dunk it on the break, score with mean pull-ups off the dribble from mid to the three point line and he seems to collect steals in bunches.

[player_tooltip player_id='2413544' first='Boie' last='Gomo'] PHH Prep Hood

A twitchy scoring guard is super explosive, active and aggressive. He will score it with euro steps, catch threes, offensive rebound put backs and will grab boards out of area. He will collect steals and block shots. A possible 3 and D type down the road.

[player_tooltip player_id='2407095' first='Zion' last='Green'] AZ Compass Prep EYBL

A highly ranked power forward showed out on one of the days I attended. He scores it every way with high level dunks, ball fakes into tough drives and score with and-1 contact finishes, rip thrus, fall aways from mid-range and threes off the catch or pull. He rebounds well and will block shots.

[player_tooltip player_id='2503742' first='Madden' last='Hill'] Sequoia Prep

A hyper athletic guard has some serious speed and real jets in the open court to burst past nearly any defender. He scores with dunks on the break, breakneck speed in transition, off the ball cuts leading to layups or dunks and he can get hot from deep and rattle in triples He will also drive and kick it to a shooter and is quick on the ball defensively.

[player_tooltip player_id='3726238' first='Steve' last='Lewis'] Sequoia Prep (Pictured)

A bigger point guard is a good passer. He sees plays developing quickly and makes the dime. He will score with downhill drives taking contact better then most with his unusually strong upper body. He will rip a pocket and take it the other way for the layup. This is where he makes his money. He will close out to shooters for the block and is one of the best on-ball defenders in the class. He is another who can end up a 3 and D type.
