The Big 64 tipped off on the campus of West Chester University on Friday evening as 120 teams made their way to campus over the course of the weekend.

I released five takeaways from opening night, but will now shift the focus to prospect spotlights starting with the unsigned seniors who stood out to me during my time on Friday and Saturday.

Anytime Muhammad-Gray steps on the floor, he makes his 6-foot-7 225-pound frame felt on nearly every possession. He played one game on Saturday in Imhotep's matchup against Mt. Zion Prep and was the most physically imposing player on the floor. Whether he was finishing straight-line drives through contact, commanding position inside for rebounds on both ends or walling off paint touches as a defender, Muhammad-Gray's value is evident. He spends time defending four different positions on the floor, which helps speak to the positional versatility. He's undoubtedly the anchor for head coach Andre Noble this season and will look to maintain the high standard that the Philadelphia program has carried for over 20 years.

One of the marquee matchups of the weekend was Archbishop Carroll (DC) taking on Father Judge (PA) and it lived up to the hype. Bolding made an early statement in the first five minutes that he was going to be the offensive sparkplug that he's shown he can be as a primary option as he got to his spots in the mid-range for fluid pull-ups, broke down his defender in 1-on-1's from the top of the key before sneaking in quick scoop layups and providing a menacing on-ball presence defensively. He's expected to be the engine for head coach Malcolm Battle this season and the Lions have a roster filled with versatile hybrid forwards who help complement Bolding's playmaking ability. Carroll would come up short from victory in the final 45 seconds, but Bolding's performance would result in West Chester extended an offer immediately after the game.

Adedeji played really well on Saturday and looked to be one of the best overall prospects in attendance when you factor in his size, skill and the upside that is yet to be tapped into. He was taking advantage on touches inside against smaller defenders, leading the break where he got downhill and attacked the rim and showed off the soft touch from outside as a pick-and-pop threat. He brought energy and intensity to the defensive side of the ball as he altered/blocked shots at the rim or rose up for rebounds with tenacity. It's easy to see why MM/MM+ programs are in the mix and based off his outing this weekend, Adedeji could emerge as Father Judge's most productive player for the upcoming season.

Jeffers took the floor Friday evening against Malvern Prep and Westtown. While DeMatha would come up short in both games on the scoreboard, the 6'9"-6'10" senior showcased why he's one of the most intriguing prospect in the local 2027 class. He kept things simple with much of his activity and production coming around the rim in the fashion of finishing plays off dump-offs, snagging rebounds at their peak with his unique length and doing an excellent job of remaining vertical with both hands as opposing players tested him on drives. In both games, Jeffers faced off against talented bigs and in my opinion, won his individual matchup and both cases.

It was my first viewing of Gonzalez and he fueled his Executive Charter (PA) team to nearly pulling out a win against Coatesville (PA). The 6-foot-4 southpaw wing is a swiss army knife type of player especially when it comes to filling out the box score. His broad shoulders, plus wingspan and sneaky athleticism made for frequent rim visits where he was able to get his layups off with an extended arm and soft touch. Gonzalez has a few capable scorers/shooters around him that helped highlight his willingness as a playmaker on drives in the half court or in transition where his skillset shined brightest. He embraced the challenge of defending arguably the top overall prospect in the 2028 national class, [player_tooltip player_id='2485359' first='Colton' last='Hiller']. While Hiller got his share of buckets against anyone who was put in front of him, it was nice seeing Gonzalez digging his heels in possession after possession and making things tougher inside the arc in comparison to others.
