The Expo is this week, and our showcases are about getting out in front of our scouts and going at it with some of the states best. It's about measuring yourself, but also putting yourself out there and creating a buzz before the season. These are all players who have created a buzz for themselves, and we want them to ride that momentum and get out to the showcase and boost their stock.

Use Colorado26PH25OFF at checkout for 25% OFF & receive a custom registered graphic that comes with it! He's skilled with size. Backs players down, can step out and shoot the 3-ball, and when he makes up his mind to be aggressive, not many other players in the state can slow him down. He needs to keep stacking big performances to set the tone and get himself out there more. I think he should get out to our event and the BballCO event as well. This can be a spot that opens it up and gets him on more radars. This year, with the other big man transferring, it opens it up for him more, and he should take advantage of those opportunities. We hope to see him there as we do think it will help him out to be there.

Davis Jr. is still a bit under the radar, but if you take a deep look at his seasons, he's been a very productive player for Central. He rebounds the ball extremely well, scores in bunches, and keeps plays alive, and his team asked for him to do more this year, and he delivered. The reason that he stays under the radar in my opinion, is that we don't see a ton of him in the offseason, and we don't see him have those monster performances against some of the state's best. Well, if he gets out to this, he'll be able to see exactly where he measures up and also show that it doesn't matter who he's up against, he can still be that kind of player. This gives him the chance to show that his game is evolving and he's ready for an even bigger year. We want to see him there.

Morris surprises me each time that I see him nd I truly believe that he gets better each time out. We got to see him have his moments during the season as a guard who runs the offense, gets the team flowing and in their sets, and takes care of the ball. The times that we saw him this Summer, he showed that he could score in a multitude of ways. He was shooting the 3-ball, which shows improvement, attacking mismatches and was getting open looks with the pick & roll. I like that he doesn't have to score to be effective, but can at times. He takes matchups personally, he steps up defensively, and a showcase setting he could separate himself by playing the right way. High expectations for Obi for me this year, and I think he might prove that he's better than what others believe this year.

Odie is going to be my pick for the breakout player of the year in his conference as I just feel that he's playing with so much confidence right now and will get the keys to the offense, which will allow him to have some big moments. He's seeing the game slow down for him right now, and we saw that at a few of our tournaments this Summer where he was a standout. He's calling for picks and attacking downhill, he's shooting the 3-ball when he's open and running the team, and Doherty will need all of that. We could also use that at a showcase where guard play will be looked upon as the separator. He'll be up against some solid guards who will try and force him into some tough spots and see how he responds. He could boost his stock with a solid event as we want to see more of the Spings players get out and show what they have out there. Odie will be looked at to lead the team this year, and getting out and putting on a show could give him even more confidence coming off of a Summer he turned some heads.

Kalenzi has been having some big high school seasons where he's putting up numbers that not many other guards in the state are putting up, but still finds himself under the radar, and it's because we want to see him do that against some other big-name guards. This is a spot where he could elevate his stock with some big plays and show that his game translates. We saw his team have a playoff push behind his play. Kalenzi was a microwave scorer who got hot at times. He was electric with the ball in his hands and was decisive, and that's what this showcase could help bring out to him alongside other capable players.

Simon is going to be the vet for this Fort Collins team that we feel should surprise a few teams, and it will be on Luke to set the tone a lot of those nights. Simon is going to be the vet for this Fort Collins team that we feel should surprise a few teams, and it will be on Luke to set the tone a lot of those nights. Looking at that GW roster, there are so many new names on there that this team will look unfamiliar. One of the steady players that they have and will be in a spot where he gets to prove himself is Stevenson. Stevenson steps right into the lead guard role, and that is a spot he should want to be in. We've seen him have some solid moments where he's causing a spark off the bench, pressuring guards high, and trying to change momentum, and he will still have to be that as he makes a name for himself.
