UIndy Elite Camp | Team Red Evaluations

The University of Indianapolis Elite Camp brought together a talented group of prospects looking to showcase their abilities in front of the Greyhounds' coaching staff. The 25 prospects in attendance were split among four teams, providing an extended look at how each player impacted the game within a team setting. Here's a breakdown of the prospects from Team Red:    Tempo pushing guard out of Perry Meridian that was really impressive in my first time seeing him at the UIndy Elite Camp. [player_tooltip player_id='2737335' first='Brody' last='Speziale'] is a 5'10” left handed guard that plays at his own pace and isn't easy to speed up. Really good in the pick and roll as a pass first guy. Good handle and quick first step that allows him to get to his spots. Clean stroke from three that shoots it with a lot of confidence. Has the potential for a breakout season ahead for the Falcons.     Long and athletic wing that put pressure on the rim all camp long. Heavy left hand driver that turned the corner well and played through contact. Capable three-point shooter and playmaker off the bounce, but has a score first mentality and once he gets going, he's a difficult cover.     One of the more impressive prospects I saw at the UIndy Elite Camp, [player_tooltip player_id='2538849' first='Ethan' last='Noble'] out of Floyd Central got going early and often on the offensive end. No wasted movement in the offensive end. Really good off the catch with a smooth release. Also showed his ability to score around the basket over length and size. Good athlete that rebounds his position and is electric in transition. Willing passer that showed he can make good decisions on drives when the defense rotates.     Physical guard that played within himself and turned in a standout performance at the UIndy Elite Camp. Was really good in the scrimmage portion just letting the game come to him and not forcing the issue. Solid shooter off the catch. Showed he can drive closeouts. Not the quickest or most athletic, but uses his size to his advantage when getting in the lane. Comfortable posting up mismatches and showed nice court vision when the double came.     Intriguing guard prospect out of Illinois that plays with an extremely high motor and just great energy on both ends of the floor. Only 5'10” but versatile defender with his strength capable of guarding multiple positions. Rebounds well out of the guard spot and was excellent in transition. Downhill driver that absorbs contact in the lane and finishes strong at the rim. Capable shooter, but thrives getting downhill creating looks for himself and others.     Previewed as a player to watch and did not disappoint as the 6'6” Senior out of Providence showed that he was the most versatile big man at the camp. Inside-out forward that affected the games on both ends of the floor. Fluid athlete that allows him to be a versatile defender that held his own on the perimeter on switches as well as a being a rim protector. Offensively, he was excellent inside-out knocking down shots from the perimeter while also showing his perimeter skills driving and finishing around the basket.
