Top 25 Class of 2030 Prospects - Part Four

We won't put out our first official rankings for the incoming Class of 2030 until after our Prep Hoops Indiana Freshman Showcase. However, throughout the summer we have been able to get a feel for who the top prospects in the class are going to be. These are players who will likely make an impact at the varsity level right away and/or project very well to the college level as young prospects. Over the course of this week we will alphabetically release who we have evaluated so far to be among the Top 25 prospects in Indiana's Class of 2030.   ***Again, please realize that this list is ALPHABETICAL. The 6'2" guard has great positional size, athleticism, and strength for an incoming freshman. He scores it from every level and should factor into a talented Penn High School backcourt right away. Sanderson comes from a great athletic pedigree and is entering high school as one of the top prospects in the state.     One of the more talented playmakers in Indiana's Class of 2030, Shively really caught our attention while playing at the varsity level for Marion High School at the Charlie Hughes Showcase. He is so quick and shifty with the ball in his hands, has scoring chops off of the dribble, and does a great job of distributing while attacking the basket. Shively will step into the Giants backcourt from day one and be a go-to playmaker for them.     There are obviously a lot of exceptions surrounding Smith as he steps into his high school career at Westfield. His older brother Braden will be mentioned a lot, but Maddox is an excellent player that deserves to be evaluated on his own accord. He is undoubtedly one of the very top prospects in the Class of 2030 already possessing all of the point guard qualities you would expect. Smith is also a consistent three-point shooter. Look for him to run the show at Westfield from day one.     Yet another talented incoming freshman guard at Merrillville High School, we've been able to see Thomas have some strong moments throughout the summer. He is an explosive playmaker off of the dribble with impressive downhill quickness that he uses to consistently get paint touches. Thomas has the ability to create his own scoring opportunities and can make plays for his teammates. Look for him to be part of a very talented and young Merrillville High School backcourt.     This incoming freshman point guard at Noblesville High School will be one to follow throughout his career. He cracked the varsity roster at the Charlie Hughes Showcase which is an accomplishment itself at a place like Noblesville. Wilson is smooth and steady with the ball in his hands. The 5'8" point guard projects as a true floor general and playmaker that will make everyone better around him. We believe he will continue to develop into one of the better lead guards in the state and is currently a Top 25 prospect in the class.     One of three incoming freshmen at Lawrence North High School this year that will have a chance to get varsity minutes right away, Wise brings positional size, athleticism, and skill to the wing. The 6'4" two-way threat has a lot of upside and is clearly a Top 25 prospect to follow in Indiana's Class of 2030. This incoming freshman class at Lawrence North is going to be fun to follow.     Woodson is simply stronger and more physical than just about anyone else in the incoming freshman class. The 6'2" forward is really skilled inside of 15-feet or so and is a load to handle in the paint. He has a smooth mid-range jump shot, drives it hard in either direction, and is an outstanding finisher inside. His strength and footwork make him really hard to handle. Look for him to put up some points right away for Fort Wayne North Side High School.
