The summer high school basketball calendar is coming to an end and plenty of prospects took advantage of the plethora of opportunities that presented themselves to get noticed in front of college coaches across each level over the past several months. With the summer time serving as a crucial stretch for when recruiting momentum begins to take shape, plenty of strong performances led to new scholarship offers, increased interest, on campus visits, and major movement on recruiting boards. With that being, here's a rundown on some developments that took place throughout the course of the summer.

[player_tooltip player_id='2514196' first='Jackson' last='Cullert'] | 6'7" '27 W Hun School/ Rens United

An exceptional perimeter shooter with a deft outside touch, [player_tooltip player_id='2514196' first='Jackson' last='Cullert'] provides extremely valuable and impactful floor spacing often times settling into a strong rhythm, confidently stepping into open looks and showcasing efficiency across a variety of shooting categories— excelling as a movement shooter while also proving highly effective as a spot up threat with his deep range consistently stretches the defense. Overall, his combination of range, shot versatility, and confidence make him a highly effective shooting threat from all areas of the perimeter. Cullert's efficient shooting percentages and diversified shot making profile swings were the catalysts in his recruitment seeing a jumpstart earlier this summer, having an earned an offer from Division I Air Force during the June Scholastic Live Period.

[player_tooltip player_id='2628248' first='Terrance' last='Jamison'] | 6'5" '27 F St. Benedict's/ NJ Panthers

A high energy and explosive forward with unique versatility for his size and position, [player_tooltip player_id='2628248' first='Terrance' last='Jamison'] legitimately established himself as a adequate two way forward throughout the entirety of the spring and summer— providing significant value as an efficient finisher around the basket across multiple different offensive actions. Equally as impactful on the defensive end of the floor, Jamison's versatility remained a consistent difference maker— attacking the glass with relentless energy and showing the ability to switch comfortably across multiple positions. With his ability to consistently create constant mismatches projecting effectively at the next level and scholarship level interest beginning to matriculate, Jamison earned his first scholarship offer from Division II Molloy while on a visit earlier this August.

[player_tooltip player_id='2628174' first='Kanye' last='Perkins'] | 6'7" '27 F Middle Township/ [program_tooltip program_id='2078566' first='East' last='Coast Cyclones']

[player_tooltip player_id='2628174' first='Kanye' last='Perkins']' athleticism and motor are more often than not on full display, as the forward consistently leverages his physical tools to make winning plays on both ends of the floor. Offensively, Perkins is most effective around the basket, where he converts efficiently on opportunistic scoring chances and showcases his explosiveness with several finishes above the rim. Defensively, he provides a strong interior presence, using his anticipation and timing to alter and block shots while making his presence felt as a rebounder while also consistently competing for position, executing strong box outs, and finishing possessions by securing rebounds. Perkins' combination of athleticism, workman like activity around the basket, and interior impact gives him a foundation to become an eventual valuable two way contributor, particularly at the next level and saw a kickstart in his recruitment earlier this summer— earning a scholarship offer from Division I Rider during the June Scholastic Live Period and having taken an unofficial visit in mid July.

[player_tooltip player_id='2203815' first='Ryan' last='Rust'] | 6'2" '27 CG Pingry School/ NJ Shoreshots

[player_tooltip player_id='2203815' first='Ryan' last='Rust'] offers overall complementary guard play highlighted by intriguing combination of shooting and decision making. At his best, he is a reliable and efficient perimeter threat who spaces the floor and makes sound decisions within the flow of the offense. While his primary value comes as a steady shot maker, Rust has also displayed flashes of ball handling ability and the capacity to make quality decisions with the ball in his hands. Having played some of his best basketball as of late over the last several months, Rust's recruitment picked up some steam during the month of June having earned an offer from Division II Felician University.

[player_tooltip player_id='2203813' first='Neel' last='Sappidi'] | 6'2" '27 G Pingry School/ GB Blue Devils

An excellent complementary backcourt piece who brings value as a steady, efficient shot maker and fundamentally sound decision maker with the ball in his hands [player_tooltip player_id='2203813' first='Neel' last='Sappidi'] often times exemplifies winning qualities in a strong connective guard. Sappidi provides reliable guard play by spacing the floor and consistently knocking down perimeter shots, possesses a keen understanding of what driving angles to attack off the bounce and finish with some hints of crafty finishing at the rim, and even excelling as a connective passer, keeping the ball moving and turning partial advantages into open shots for those he shared the court with. Sappidi's continued strong play has put him on the radar of college coaches at multiple levels— earning an offer from Division II Felician University while also having taken visits to Division III NYU and RIT.

[player_tooltip player_id='2786681' first='Cam' last='White'] | 6'0" [player_tooltip player_id='3665515' first='PG' last=''] Morris Catholic/ GB Blue Devils

[player_tooltip player_id='2786681' first='Cam' last='White'] emerged as one of the more impactful two way point guards in New Jersey, bringing an intriguing combination of playmaking, scoring, toughness, and defensive intensity. He is at his best when playing downhill, using his quickness craftiness off the bounce to generate paint touches and collapse defenses while demonstrating an understanding of how to push tempo, create transition opportunities, and facilitate for others. All while remaining aggressive as a scorer— showing the ability to finish through contact, utilize crafty touch around the rim, and operate confidently in the mid range. Equally as impactful defensively, he applies constant full court pressure, competes with a high motor, and uses his anticipation and instincts to disrupt opposing guards. White plays with the type of competitiveness and winning mentality that impacts the game in more ways than one and has garnered attention of coaches the next level— picking up an offer from Division II Georgian Court back in May and having taken an unofficial visit to Ithaca in July.

[player_tooltip player_id='2421371' first='Akeem' last='Paul'] | 6'9" F Shabazz/ Hilltoppers Basketball Club

[player_tooltip player_id='2421371' first='Akeem' last='Paul'] brings a long, wiry physical profile with flashes of fluidity and mobility that stand out for a player of his measureables. His biggest calling card is his motor and work rate, as he consistently plays with infectious energy on the interior and maintains a high level of activity on both ends. Paul generates much of his offensive value around the basket, where he thrives as a dunker spot and short corner finisher while also providing relief as a vertical finisher in different offensive actions. He's displayed soft touch on finishes through contact and has the athleticism to capitalize on opportunities above the rim. Paul also carries that same level of effort to the glass, competing consistently on both the offensive and defensive boards and offering promise as a big who can leverage his length in rim protection. As Paul has put together more consistent flashes of what his skillset and two way impact could look like later on in his development, he's begun to generate some interest in his recruitment— earning offers from Division III Saint Elizabeth and NAIA Florida Memorial.
