Section 6A – We say Benson, Breckenridge or Pelican Rapids

<!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Section Power Rankings</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:list {"ordered":true} --> <ol class="wp-block-list"><!-- wp:list-item --> <li>Benson.  Benson has two very good guards back that will make them a top team, and if Goodwin is on the court consistently, they would be the favorite. </li> <!-- /wp:list-item --> <!-- wp:list-item --> <li>Pelican Rapids.  The Vikings lost their top two guys but they return everything else from the rotation. </li> <!-- /wp:list-item --> <!-- wp:list-item --> <li>Breckenridge.  The Cowboys lost three starters but have some quality back in the backcourt from a 22-7 team. </li> <!-- /wp:list-item --> <!-- wp:list-item --> <li>Park Christian.  Lost five of their top seven guys but they return their best player. </li> <!-- /wp:list-item --> <!-- wp:list-item --> <li>Underwood.  Underwood has three of their top four players returning from last season. </li> <!-- /wp:list-item --> <!-- wp:list-item --> <li>Henning.  Four of the top seven are coming back from a state team but with Kale Misgades gone, that is half the team statistical production gone from just one guy.</li> <!-- /wp:list-item --> <!-- wp:list-item --> <li>Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa.  BBE lost half of their rotation but they have some good young players coming up.  Might take another year but if they gel, they could contend this year.</li> <!-- /wp:list-item --> <!-- wp:list-item --> <li>Hancock.  Lost their top two scorers but does have three of the top six guys back plus some size. </li> <!-- /wp:list-item --> <!-- wp:list-item --> <li>New York Mils. A team that has two very good junior starters returning from a 19 win team.</li> <!-- /wp:list-item --> <!-- wp:list-item --> <li>Ada Borup West.  Lost their top scorer and four of the top six guys but will have one of the elite players in the section on Tinjum.</li> <!-- /wp:list-item --> <!-- wp:list-item --> <li>Border West.  Four starters back including their top scorer. </li> <!-- /wp:list-item --> <!-- wp:list-item --> <li>West Central Area. WCA has two key guys back from a team that was about .500</li> <!-- /wp:list-item --> <!-- wp:list-item --> <li>Rothsay. A .500 last season that returns just about everything. </li> <!-- /wp:list-item --> <!-- wp:list-item --> <li>Brandon/Evansville.  A team that was in the .500 area that returns five rotational guys and should be in the middle again. </li> <!-- /wp:list-item --> <!-- wp:list-item --> <li>NCE/UH.  Lost four starters but returns a double figure scorer. </li> <!-- /wp:list-item --> <!-- wp:list-item --> <li>Hillcrest Lutheran Academy.  A team that was mostly seniors last year and most of their point production needs to be replaced. </li> <!-- /wp:list-item --> <!-- wp:list-item --> <li>Parkers Prairie.  Four starters back from a 7-win team.</li> <!-- /wp:list-item --> <!-- wp:list-item --> <li>Ashby.  All but one player returns from their team</li> <!-- /wp:list-item --> <!-- wp:list-item --> <li>Ortonville.  Returns half of their rotation including the top scorer. </li> <!-- /wp:list-item --> <!-- wp:list-item --> <li>Battle Lake.  Top scorer gone bout four starters return</li> <!-- /wp:list-item --> <!-- wp:list-item --> <li>Lake Park-Audubon. Scored 18 a game last year and the 6'5 wing also had a strong 17u season leading to a Valley City State commitment.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2405944' first='Aidan' last='Sanchez'] of Breckenridge (Sr).&nbsp; A 6'4 guard/wing that is the top returning scorer for the Cowboys.
