Evaluations from players on team 15 at the Prep Hoops Illinois Sophomore ID Camp.    Competitive 2 way guard who combines playmaking and defensive activity. Pinkston will use shot fakes or jap steps to go into attacking sequence vs tight closeouts. Can get downhill off dribble penetration and finish through traffic or draw help before delivering drop offs to teammates. Pinkston understands spacing concepts to maintain 3 point gravity while creating driving lanes for others. Will pressure the ball beyond half court at times defensively and force tough perimeter shots in 0 gap pressure.     Scrappy quick twitch guard from Lincoln Park with advanced shot creation and legitimate 3 level scoring ability. Don't mistake his size for his game. Young brings a diverse set of skills offensively on a tight yet shifty handle. Utilizes a variety of space separators such as in and out dribbles, step-backs, spin moves, and change of pace movements to generate clean looks from all 3 levels. Young gets downhill for efficient floaters and runners over more size. He uses his agility to consistently beat defenses down the floor for transition looks. His all around showing in the team's first game of the day was one of the most impressive I saw as he continued to impress throughout the rest of the day with the same contributions.     Willis plays bigger than his size through consistent activity and effort on both sides of the ball. Most recognized for his shooting skills, today he showed he can attack the paint too. He elevated high for a couple squeezes from the guard spot and of course provided stability from beyond the arc as well. Willis instincts while playing with quite of few playmakers today still showed as a player with high IQ and feel for the game.     A quick point guard that can create paint touches with a solid first step and willingness to challenge size at the rim. Miller can turn defense into offense using speed to push the ball for coast to coast opportunities. Defensively his quick hands and anticipation allows him to disrupt offensive flow and help generate takeaways. Plays with confidence and doesn't shy away from the moment.     Fundamentally sound at the 1 or 2 spot. Main processes the game well to consistently make the correct play in various scenarios. He attacked off the bounce with purpose when the opportunity was there to draw contact at times. Showed flashes of creating to get into his jumper off the dribble as well. Defensively Main displayed solid anticipation one pass away. An understander of the game through structure and positioning while bringing displayed decision making skills to the back court.     A left handed guard who brings toughness and transition presence to the game. Defensively Pappas impacted by using active hands and anticipation to generate takeaways including jumping a pass and pick pocketing a handler. Runs the floor hard and contributes in primary break opportunities. Pappas battles through possessions and will cut effectively off the ball for BLOB opportunities or to open up space in the lane.     A quick guard that thrives playing in an up tempo and fast paced style on both sides of the ball. Hayes was a defensive agitator throughout the day applying pressure to the ball handler in both the full and half court settings. He brings a disruptive instinct using his speed and active hands to generate multiple steals. If there was an all defensive team at the showcase, Hayes would have been a first ballot nominee. On the offensive end, he utilized ball screens effectivity to turn corners sharply and generate paint touches. He can adjust to different speeds while getting closer to the rim to draw help then dish off or finish himself. His vertical also popped on some rebounds which adds to his overall variety of tangibles he brings to the floor.     Barczak plays with a level of competitiveness and grit that immediately pops. His motor and impact showed today without requiring volume offensive shots. When he did get attempts, his mechanics looked very clean from mid-range and beyond the 3 point line. Defensively he grinds plays out while staying engaged. Barczak provided value in other areas through rebounding, ball movement, and efficient decision making skills.     Reffield finds ways to impact possessions through physicality, effort, and unselfish play. Defensively he has the ability to apply tight point of attack pressure and contain dribbles for long spurts. His strength is utilized with conceding easy angles and securing tough defensive rebounds in the thick of traffic. Offensively Reffield plays well within structure providing sound drive and kick reads, cutting hard away from the ball to openings, and running the floor in transition. Additionally, he brings a clean spot up 3 and mid range stroke. His activity translates well as a volume rebounder where he consistently crashes and challenges against more size.
