The Prep Hoops Circuit made six stops in the Chicago area this spring and summer, showcasing some of the top frontcourt prospects in the Midwest. From physical interior finishers to skilled forwards with passing ability, the 2027 class featured a strong collection of post players who consistently produced throughout the circuit. Here's a look at five of the top post prospects who stood out across the Chicago events.

[player_tooltip player_id='2323618' first='Alex' last='Sirbu'] | [program_tooltip program_id='2076459' first='Breakaway' last='']

(Chi-Town Tip-Off)

Sirbu continued to establish himself as one of the premier interior prospects in the class with his combination of size, power, and improving skill. The 6-foot-9 post runs the floor with purpose, finishes above the rim with authority, and showed polished footwork on the block. His quick spin moves and ability to seal defenders created quality scoring opportunities, while the defensive attention he drew inside consistently opened perimeter looks for teammates.

[player_tooltip player_id='2467723' first='Mohammad' last='Farhan'] | [program_tooltip program_id='2075386' first='Chicago' last='Lockdown']

(Prep Hoops Live)

Farhan impacted games in ways that don't always show up on the stat sheet. The 6-foot-5 forward protected the paint, cut off driving lanes, and used his physicality to make life difficult for opposing finishers. Offensively, his passing continues to improve, and he displayed excellent feel by making the right reads while also finishing tough plays through contact.

[player_tooltip player_id='2632014' first='Boti' last='Szabo-Zsamba'] | [program_tooltip program_id='2078374' first='Full' last='Package']

(Great Lakes Finals)

Szabo-Zsamba impressed with his combination of size, strength, and fundamentals around the basket. The left-handed post consistently established deep position, displayed outstanding hands catching passes in traffic, and excelled as a low-block scorer. His understanding of positioning, rebounding instincts, and willingness to do the little things made him one of the most effective interior players at the event.

[player_tooltip player_id='2834320' first='Danny' last='Simon'] | [program_tooltip program_id='2078374' first='Full' last='Package']

(Great Lakes Finals, The Tune Up)

Simon brought a physical, high-energy approach every time he stepped on the floor. He battled relentlessly on the glass, defended with toughness by moving his feet and protecting the paint, and consistently finished through contact. His motor and willingness to embrace physical play made him one of the toughest frontcourt matchups on the circuit.

[player_tooltip player_id='2831286' first='Nathan' last='Ottaway'] | All In

(Great Lakes Finals, The Tune Up)

Ottaway showcased a polished all-around interior game highlighted by excellent footwork, soft touch, and strong basketball IQ. He scored efficiently with hooks, turnaround jumpers, and finishes through contact while also serving as a reliable screener and interior passer. His feel for the game, willingness to make the extra pass, and ability to impact the game without forcing offense give him intriguing long-term value.

Honorable Mention

- [player_tooltip player_id='2844456' first='Amir' last='Green'] | [program_tooltip program_id='2078408' first='Team' last='Rose']

- [player_tooltip player_id='3437783' first='Vincent' last='Allen'] | [program_tooltip program_id='2078408' first='Team' last='Rose']

- [player_tooltip player_id='2125672' first='Patrick' last='Magan'] | M14 Gold
