New Recruiting Tidbits From Around the State

The 6'5" Powers is ranked among the top prospects in the state. As a junior, he averaged 22.1 points, 7.6 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 2.1 steals in leading the Wildcats to a 20-8 record. He shot 36 percent from 3-point range in hitting 76 triples. During the summer, he played with MoKan Elite's 17U team that advanced to the quarterfinals of the Nike EYBL Peach Jam. As a sophomore in 2025, Powers led Westminster to a third-place finish in the Class 5 state tournament.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Class of 2027 guard [player_tooltip player_id='2712611' first='Sam' last='Guethle'] of Seckman has given a commitment to Maryville University. A 6'5" southpaw, Guethle averaged 21 points, 5.7 rebounds and two assists a game while shooting 40 percent from 3-point range.
