He surely scored well into double figures and showcased an ability to create offense for himself. Simply put, there wasn't much anyone in the building could do to stop him once he got too deep in the paint. He punched every dunking opportunity he got and also showcased some shooting potential from long distance. He has a bigger frame and obvious strength that he uses strategically to get to his spots and move his opponent off of theirs. What surprised me most was his efficiency near the rim as a playmaker. His positioning and effort on defense stood out in. Keeping his head on a swivel, jumping to the ball, reading the passing lanes… whatever his team needed him to do to secure the ball, he did it. On the other end of the court, Paxton was one of the best finishers around the rim in the building. He remained in attack mode from start to finish and got to the rim anytime he decided to.
