1.) 2027 [player_tooltip player_id='2617495' first='Drake' last='Pfaltzgraff'] (Bondurant-Farrar) -- 11.3 rebounds per game

The 6-6 Pfaltzgraff had a breakout junior year for the Bluejays, averaging 16.2 points and 11.3 rebounds a night. He has great hands and establishes really good position both on the block for his offensive touches and when he's attacking the glass on either end of the floor.

2.) 2027 [player_tooltip player_id='2770487' first='Darius' last='Foy'] (Fort Madison) -- 9.5

Foy is a big body, the type of big body that few schools in the Southeast Conference have an answer for, and that was evident with his work both on the glass and as a rim protector last season. He averaged four offensive rebounds a game and was really efficient as a scorer, shooting just under 55% from the floor.

3.) 2027 [player_tooltip player_id='2758688' first='Jacob' last='Mulder'] (MOC-Floyd Valley) -- 8.1

Mulder had a breakout junior year for the Dutchmen, leading the team in scoring (13.7) and blocks (1.1) to go with his strong work on the glass. He's a big body with nimble feet and soft hands, and he can score inside and out.

4.) 2027 [player_tooltip player_id='2754699' first='Gavin' last='Ahrendt'] (Sergeant Bluff-Luton) -- 8.0

A 6-6 big man with good hands, mobility, and versatility on both ends of the floor, Ahrendt averaged 9.9 points, 3.3 assists, 1.5 steals, and 1.0 blocks per game in addition to his work on the glass. He impacts the game in a major way on both ends of the floor and will be a key piece for a Warriors team that figures to be among the elite in Class 3A this winter.

5.) 2027 [player_tooltip player_id='2754668' first='Kobe' last='Klaassen'] (Harlan) -- 8.0

The 6-4 Klaassen led the Cyclones in rebounding, assists (2.4), and was second in scoring (11.9) last season. He's a good free-throw shooter, knocking down 78% of his attempts from the charity stripe, which is big for a player who does a large majority of his damage around the rim.

6.) 2028 [player_tooltip player_id='3650664' first='Isaiah' last='Lange'] (Mount Pleasant) -- 7.9

Lange enjoyed a breakout sophomore season with the Panthers, leading the team in both scoring (14.0) and rebounding while shooting 59% from the floor. A mobile 6-5 big man who runs the floor well, he does a particularly good job attacking the offensive glass, averaging 2.8 offensive rebounds a night last season.

7.) 2027 [player_tooltip player_id='2967587' first='Asser' last='Mutombo'] (Heelan) -- 7.8

Following his transfer from Sioux City East, Mutombo was only eligible for the final 11 games of the season but he made a huge impact once he joined the Crusaders lineup, averaging 9.5 points and 7.8 rebounds on 59% shooting. He's a nimble forward with big, soft hands and great footwork.

8.) 2027 [player_tooltip player_id='2754704' first='Nathan' last='Manske'] (Algona) -- 7.8

An athletic 6-2 forward who was also among the top returning scorers, Manske uses his long wingspan and plus athleticism to control the glass on both ends of the floor for the 'Dogs.

9.) 2027 [player_tooltip player_id='3073150' first='Nate' last='Walterbach'] (Saydel) -- 7.6

Walterbach is an intriguing 6-7 big man with length who could become one of the breakout players of the 2026-27 season. He's strong on the glass on both ends of the floor, using his long arms to snatch rebounds out of nowhere, and he can space the floor, shooting just under 41% from the 3-point line as a junior.

10.) 2027 [player_tooltip player_id='2448279' first='Brooks' last='Coates'] (Marion) -- 7.4

Coates is one of the biggest players in the state, listed at 6-10 during his junior year, and that combination of size, length, and mobility allows him to control the painted area on both ends of the floor. He's one of the state's elite shot blockers and is a good rebounder on both ends of the floor.
