He's a fantastic athlete who uses his athleticism and speed to dominate games in the SEISC.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>2.) 2027 [player_tooltip player_id='2419764' first='Oaklan' last='Jirak'] (Wilton) -- 22.1</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>One of two Beavers on this list, Jirak, a 6-2 wing, is a three-level scorer who can play with or without the ball in his hands. He's at his best when he's attacking the rim off the dribble, but he's an adept 3-point shooting threat as well, knocking down 46 3-pointers as a junior at a nearly 35% clip. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>3.) 2027 [player_tooltip player_id='2419757' first='Bryer' last='Putman'] (Wilton) -- 22.0</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The 6-5 Putman is one of the best players in 2A, a stat-sheet stuffing athletic wing who can dominate games on both ends of the floor. In addition to his 22 points per game on nearly 52% shooting, he averaged 12.1 rebounds (including 4.6 on the offensive end), 2.9 assists, 3.5 steals, and 2.2 blocks per game last season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>4.) 2027 [player_tooltip player_id='2419699' first='Braylon' last='Bingham'] (Pleasantville) -- 21.8</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Bingham has been one of the most productive players in the state through his first three years and looks primed to have a huge final go-around for the Trojans. A multi-sport standout, he has committed to play linebacker at Iowa, and many of those same attributes - hands, explosive athleticism, physicality - make him such a dominant basketball player as well. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>5.) 2028 [player_tooltip player_id='2523908' first='Jaxen' last='Christiansen'] (Northeast) -- 21.6</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Christiansen is a high-volume scorer who is capable of getting scorching hot from the 3-point line and carrying the Rebels for long stretches. He's a bit of a streaky shooter, but he's about as dangerous a pure scorer as there is in the class. He's a shifty guard who can create his own looks off the bounce as well as get his teammates involved, dishing out 4.1 assists per game last season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>6.) 2027 [player_tooltip player_id='2865242' first='Adrian' last='Whipple'] (Eagle Grove) -- 20.0</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Whipple is a tough, athletic 6-2 guard who loves to play downhill and get to the rim and the free-throw line. He's a capable 3-point shooting threat, but is certainly at his best when he's applying pressure on opposing teams with his ability to get downhill. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>7.) 2027 [player_tooltip player_id='3343972' first='Isaac' last='Helm'] (Albia) -- 19.9</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Helm stepped into a starring role for Albia following the unfortunate injury to Gage Chance before the start of the season, but the Blue Demons will be better this season as a result of that Chance injury. Helm is a physical, athletic 6-4 forward who can score efficiently around the bucket, shooting over 53% from the floor, and he's really strong on the glass on both ends. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>8.) 2027 [player_tooltip player_id='2379147' first='Reese' last='Montgomery'] (Red Oak) -- 19.7</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Montgomery is a long, athletic 6-3/6-4 combo forward who can score inside and out, and he's one of the best rebounders in the state, regardless of position or class. He pulled down 13.3 rebounds per game as a junior, including over four per game on the offensive end, helping contribute to his nearly 20-point average.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>9.) 2028 [player_tooltip player_id='2772345' first='Tayden' last='Moret'] (Western Christian) -- 19.5</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The star player for what should be one of 2A's best teams this winter, Moret is an athletic, physical, and highly confident guard who can take over games as a scorer, playmaker, and defender. He has a great feel for the game, knowing when he needs to take over as either a scoring threat or a playmaker. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>10.) 2027 [player_tooltip player_id='2853853' first='Coy' last='Moline'] (Manson-Northwest Webster) -- 19.1</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A powerful 6-3 wing who likes to play downhill and finish at the rim, Moline uses his strength to his advantage, bullying smaller defenders routinely as well as controlling the glass on both ends of the floor. If he can improve just a little bit as a shooter, he could become a 23-24 point scorer as a senior.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
