2030 Rankings Primer: Big Names At the Top, Part 3

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>It won't be too long before we launch the first ranking for the 2030 class in Kentucky. Early indications are that there will be some serious star power in this class. Multiple Freshmen look like they will be amongst the top national recruits when those rankings are released a year or so from now. Here's a quick look ahead at some of the top Freshmen in the class. These are in alphabetical order by first name. Advanced as a playmaker, Pierre has a lot of the same tools that made his dad a long term NBA player. He's not as big as his dad yet but Rondo has the same type of defensive instincts and shoots the ball better than his dad ever did. Thomas plays with a good motor and can do a lot of things athletically that others in this class cannot do yet. If you were looking for one school that is loaded with young talent, Evangel would be that. As an 8th grader, Darko averaged over 14 points per game and he will score more than that as a Freshman if his overall shooting improves. Johnson is the best shooter of the Evangel group. He actually played more and score more than Johnson but did not shoot the ball anywhere near as efficiently as his teammates. If Golden can smooth out his jumper, his ceiling is going to get higher and higher. He's not shy about getting 3s up and if he can make a higher percentage this season, he'll be averaging closer to 16 points per game as a Freshman.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
