What a competitive drive this young man has. An undersized player, Walker proved he wasn't one to be messed with. His speed stood out on the floor, like a Sonic the Hedgehog wreaking havoc. Walker was so much fun to watch. He made steals in traffic, got fouled shooting threes, was fearless driving to the hoop, and showcased a reliable free throw stroke. In short, he did it all against some top talent and really held his own.     Though he may not get as much credit as some of the other players on his talented team, Velazquez stood out as a maximum effort type of player. An undersized guard, Velazquez left his heart on the court, chasing down balls on defense and making needle-threading passes on offense. One thing I would love to see Velazquez work on is his three point shooting – driving to the hoop against much taller players might not go his way, but developing a reliable outside shot would help his team.     Robertson is the definition of a hustle player. There were multiple times when he gave desperately needed pops of effort in FVV Elite's game against [program_tooltip program_id='2075622' first='M14' last='Hoops'], diving to save rebounds from going out of bounds and providing his team with opportunities for second-chance points. In a game where his team got down early, Robertson kept his head up and showcased a “keeping his team in it” type of attitude, playing an important role on his team.     Fasanya impacted the game in ways that don't always show up in the box score. While he consistently put pressure on the defense by attacking the rim, his competitive spirit was the most impressive part of his performance. He never took a play off, repeatedly sacrificing his body to chase loose balls and turning hustle plays into scoring opportunities. His best moment came after missing a shot, when he dove for his own rebound and, while still on his knees, found a teammate for the easy finish. Fasanya's willingness to do the little things helped to fuel his team's success.     Even when John's team was down big against BIG3 Basketball, he didn't give up and carried his team with his scoring and energy. John really came alive in the second half of the game, hitting baseline lay up drives, swishing three point shots, and displaying some really smart passing to get his teammates involved. John's ability to stay focused and lead his team, even in the face of adversity, is what earned him a spot on our hustle list.
