The Platform brought together some of the Midwest's top talent, and while plenty of players filled the scoring column, these guards consistently elevated everyone around them. Whether it was controlling tempo, creating advantages off the dribble, or making the right read at the right time, these playmakers stood out with their decision-making and feel for the game all weekend long.

Logan Redditt | Zero Fears | 2029

Redditt was a catalyst every time he stepped on the floor. The speedy point guard thrives in the open court, constantly pushing the pace and putting pressure on retreating defenses. His explosive first step allows him to beat defenders before they can get organized, while his change of speed makes him just as dangerous in the half court. Redditt consistently created quality looks for both himself and his teammates, playing with confidence and poise throughout the weekend.

Mohammad Sozzer | [program_tooltip program_id='2076459' first='Breakaway' last=''] | 2028

Sozzer controlled games with patience and composure beyond his years. Rarely rushed, he dictated tempo while keeping defenders guessing with his deceptive change of pace. His ability to handle pressure, make the correct read, and keep the offense organized stood out every time he had the ball in his hands. Defenders couldn't afford to sag off him, opening driving lanes that he consistently exploited.

[player_tooltip player_id='2369872' first='Cody' last='Rader'] | [program_tooltip program_id='2078376' first='Illinois' last='Attack'] | 2029

Rader showcased one of the highest basketball IQs in the gym while playing up a level at 16U. He quickly identified defensive tendencies and adjusted his approach throughout the game, attacking the paint whenever opportunities presented themselves. His disciplined handle, ability to change speeds, and knack for creating separation made him a difficult cover. Defensively, he applied relentless ball pressure and consistently turned stops into transition opportunities while providing vocal leadership on both ends of the floor.

[player_tooltip player_id='2632058' first='Karon' last='Shavers'] | Geek Squad | 2027

Shavers brought an exciting blend of creativity and confidence to the guard position. His advanced handle allowed him to create space in a variety of ways, while his ability to score from all three levels kept defenses off balance. He played with tremendous feel, making quick decisions off the bounce and using his basketball IQ to capitalize on defensive mistakes. His combination of shot creation and playmaking made him one of the weekend's toughest matchups.

[player_tooltip player_id='2431475' first='David' last='Udoiwod'] | 88 West | 2027

Udoiwod impressed with his ability to make in-game adjustments. Rather than forcing perimeter shots, he consistently attacked gaps with a quick first step and excellent body control. His pace, balance, and ability to finish through traffic highlighted his feel for the game, while his willingness to read the defense and take what it gave him made him an efficient creator throughout the weekend.

[player_tooltip player_id='2125654' first='Jordan' last='Purvis'] | Fueled by Faith | 2027

Purvis displayed an unselfish, team-first approach that kept his offense flowing. He consistently created open perimeter opportunities by drawing defenders before delivering timely passes to shooters. When lanes opened, he attacked decisively, getting downhill with purpose and finishing through traffic. His ability to balance scoring aggression with quality playmaking made him a steady offensive leader throughout the event.

Cam Hunter | [program_tooltip program_id='3647874' first='Chicago' last='Cannons'] | 2029

Hunter proved to be a versatile piece for his team which went 3-1 in the 15U division at The Platform. Creative ball handler that can really make things happen when the rock is in his hands. Plays different roles being able to be whatever is needed in that game.
