PrepHoops Platform day 1 standouts

He was able to prove he is a reliable scorer when games get close and also handle the ball really well in crucial situations. In his game against [program_tooltip program_id='2076459' first='Breakaway' last=''] 17u Gold he was able to score 15 points with 9 of them coming from three. He also was able to get to the hoop and draw fouls and convert at the free throw line. He was able to get his scoring started right away with a pair of fast break layups. Once he got going he was able to show off his rebounding skills and ability to push the ball in transition. He would shoot a layup and make or miss, would sprint to get back on defense and make sure to get a rebound off a missed shot. He was very calm during the game and didn't make many mistakes besides two turnovers. He was tasked with guarding the opposing teams best players and when I tell you he shut them down, he shut them down. He was also very patient on offense and was in the middle against a 2-3 zone. He was able to get to the hoop many times and finish all his layups while also being able to dump it off to his teammates in the dunker spot. As soon as the game started he wasted no time getting to his spots on the court and converting at a high percent. This consisted of mid range jumpers and tough layups. He was also pressured heavily by his opponents and he made sure to stay calm and handle the ball with care. While getting to his spots, he would draw two defenders most times giving him chances to find open teammates and racking up assists. He got started by showing off how great a shooter he is. With a low release he makes sure to get enough space in order to get it off and when he does it's cash. He also is good at using a pump fake to get his defenders in the air and then creating even more space to get his shot off. He is also a sneaky finisher and can make his layups at high level despite being 5'9. There were times when he would make 3 threes in a row and help give his team some fire and that seemed to work in all his games. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
