Justin showed how he can be a reliable scorer, playmaker, and defender at the point guard position. As soon as the game started he wasted no time getting to his spots on the court and converting at a high percent. This consisted of mid range jumpers and tough layups. He was also pressured heavily by his opponents and he made sure to stay calm and handle the ball with care. While getting to his spots, he would draw two defenders most times giving him chances to find open teammates and racking up assists. He plays with fire and is someone to look out for for the rest of the summer.

5’11” M14 and Andrew point guard. Displayed a variety of skills when watching him Friday night against Rise Elite. He’s your traditional floor general who loves to create for others. Taking advantage of that with a string of assists in key run after a slow start for the team. Ball skills and shiftiness were also present.

Freeman stood out with his activity and toughness as an undersized guard. He contributed on the glass, showing willingness to rebound outside his size. Offensively, he attacked downhill with quickness, getting good penetration and showing a solid takes down the lane. He also knocked down jumpers from the elbow areas, adding another layer to his scoring ability.
Defensively, Freeman stayed engaged, beating drivers to spots and using his chest well to absorb contact and contain penetration. In transition, he played with a motor, pushing the break with energy while also showing good awareness of when to slow the pace and make the right decision.
