New Names Emerge in the 2027 Class at Riverside Brookfield

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><em>***Use Code “ScottyB30” for 30% off your subscription***</em></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>What prospects in the Class of 2027 put their name on the map emerging at the Riverside Brookfield Live Event?&nbsp; Here are a few that caught our attention!</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='3672710' first='Terrence' last='Richardson'] (Hillcrest)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Richardson is going to make a massive debut in our next update after the way he played at RB.&nbsp; The 6'6” power forward is a long and lanky uber athlete.&nbsp; He dropped 17 points making it look easy.&nbsp; It all got started with a shot fake into a massive dunk!&nbsp; Bouncy rim protector that swatted shots inside and out on the perimeter on a long ball attempt.&nbsp; Took guys off the dribble from the mid-post.&nbsp; Hook shots in the paint and flashed quality post moves.&nbsp; Like this rising senior a lot!</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2834059' first='Aidan' last='Avila'] (Niles North)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Avila burst on the scene with a strong performance on the first afternoon.&nbsp; The 6'4” power forward from Niles North is a junk yard dog big man that plays with a high-motor getting on the offensive glass for second chance points.&nbsp; Finishes with toughness around the rim and has quick post moves through contact.&nbsp; Good defender as well.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2834108' first='Dominic' last='Mann'] (Niles North)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Mann is a 6'1” shooting guard that emerged as a legit shooter with range on his shot.&nbsp; Scrappy defender with solid passing especially on outlets.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2371812' first='Justin' last='Freeman'] (Andrew)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>This 5'11” PG from Andrew caught our attention with his strong and compact frame.&nbsp; Got downhill with the ball attacking the rim.&nbsp; Should be a spark guy for the Thunderbolts.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Dereon Savage (Homewood Flossmoor)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Rangy 6'6” power forward that is springy around the hoop.&nbsp; Quickness off the floor finishing out of the dunker spot and blocking shots.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Rasheed Watson (East St. Louis)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Watson had a nice showing at RB as the East St. Louis 6'1” shooting guard is a three and D guard.&nbsp; Quality spot up shooter that can defend on the perimeter.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Darion Butler (Waubonsie Valley)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Butler caught our attention as a 6'8” bouncy center that has some intriguing tools to work with.&nbsp; High points rebounds, blocks shots, and is fluid running up and down the floor.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2125672' first='Patrick' last='Magan'] (Burlington Central)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Magan isn't totally a new name as he emerged in the spring, but he definitely deserves a mention here.&nbsp; The Burlington Central wing is a sneaky athlete that has skill putting it on the deck and a smooth three point shot.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Tim Adrenele (Mt. Carmel)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>You can't teach size and Adrenele certainly has exactly that!&nbsp; The 6'11” center is massive compared to his peers in the state.&nbsp; Played limited minutes for the Caravan, but if he wants to play college hoops he will at his size being able to get on the offensive glass and had a nice right handed hook shot.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='3564547' first='Grayson' last='Lee'] (Lyons)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Lee is a 6'4” wing that is a plus spot up shooter.&nbsp; Regularly knocked down the deep ball in their game against Plainfield East.&nbsp; Clean and quick release off the catch.&nbsp; Can attack a close out as well and is a skilled passer for an off ball player.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2907626' first='Ryland' last='Anyimadu'] (Plainfield East)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Junk yard dog undersized post at about 6'4” that some small college is going to love.&nbsp; Gets on the glass and is mobile as a pick/roll finisher.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2532333' first='Jordan' last='Johnson'] (Thornwood)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>At 6'3” the Thornwood shooting guard came out firing in the game we caught!&nbsp; Buried multiple threes and mid-range jumpers in the opening few minutes of the game.&nbsp; Free and easy shot.&nbsp; Strong with the ball in his hands and made sound passes on the move.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
