He attacked and faced, Cooper cut, and he scored on shot touch jumpers. When the ball went through him in those areas [program_tooltip program_id='2078859' first='Starks' last='Elite'] was playing very well. Cooper scored 19 points with eight boards and he made 8 of 10 attempts. When the ball didn't find him in that high post area the team started to struggle.

Cooper is surely a senior to watch for his senior year.

We took in Minnesota Rise playing Beast Elite, a high octane Texas team that spent the entire game coming downhill at opponents with speed on Saturday. There are some players that have not seen a team like this much so their reaction is pause and maybe fear, or the reaction is to rise to the challenge and compete. [player_tooltip player_id='2815441' first='Mitchell' last='Hopp'] wants to compete, at all times!

With guards skills in a long, 6'3 frame, [player_tooltip player_id='2815441' first='Mitchell' last='Hopp'] seemed to relish the challenge. Hopp went at the smaller but quick defenders getting to the foul line a few times plus he moved the ball so the Rise could get the right shots. In all Hopp scored 12 points knocking out four attempts and it was a combination of face-up scores and smooth traffic finishes.

Overall I really loved the way Hopp competed to get the win.

Caleb will be another player that gets a big bump in rankings from us. Meyer is a strong framed face up forward that came down hill at the Comets and they could not stop him.

Meyer had a really big season at Worthington as a junior but I don't think the word is out on him quite enough and after what we saw from him Saturday, he deserves some notice. Caleb was just more physical going at the Comets scoring six times on eleven shots and earning the win. A player that we think is going to have a big senior season.

Yesterday we learned what kind of shooter Connor is. We know he had a good season at Burnsville as a key scorer and Connor has good size at 6'7 playing the face up forward spot. In the upset win over Fury Goring, Connor opened the game with two threes and he closed the game with the game winner in the paint.

Connor had a twelve point game with three assists, four boards and a big impression as a skilled 6'7 talent. Connor is a solid D3 prospect that I think will get increased interest and we are told he has been shooting it well from the perimeter all 17u season.

Bradyen Heiderscheidt of Minnesota Rise (Sleepy Eye). At about 6'3/6'4, Brayden has a really good handle at this size, he passes the ball well and has a good feel for the game. Scored on three of five attempts in the game we saw and all those makes were threes plus he led his team in assists.
