EYBL Peach Jam: Small Forward Shining Stars

EYBL Peach Jam was full of top prospects from around the nation who traveled to basketball's biggest stage of the summer for the right to call themselves 2026 Peach Jam champions. This week-long tournament was a whole new and eye-opening experience for me to be able to analyze and scout the top high school players in the United States. Here are 5 small forwards for the 17u division who caught my attention with all facets of their game and their impressive lists of D1 offers and commitments.    [player_tooltip player_id='2473434' first='Moussa' last='Kamissoko'] was one of the most well rounded small forwards I was able to catch on the opening day of Peach Jam. He can either handle the ball on the perimeter like a guard or dominate the post with some clean back to the basket moves like a traditional big. Kamissoko slashes his way to the rim with ease against opponents, no matter their size and can also pull up in the midrange and from deep. He possesses offers from BYU, UConn, Providence, Kentucky, Syracuse, and Alabama. Moussa averaged 16 points, 2 assists, 7 rebounds, and 2 steals per game throughout EYBL play for the [program_tooltip program_id='2135065' first='PSA' last='Cardinals'].     DeMarcus Henry showcased to me why his name is the #1 ranked player in Arizona. The 6'8 small forward for Vegas Elite was tremendous shooting off the dribble and creating his own shot, especially in the midrange area at the top of the key or the elbow. He crashes the boards very effectively on both sides of the ball and runs a well-paced game in transition often drawing contact and getting himself to the line. Henry currently has offers from Gonzaga, Kansas, North Carolina, Arkansas, and Louisville. Demarcus finished the EYBL season with averages of 19 points, 10 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2 steals per contest for Vegas Elite over the course of the summer.     [player_tooltip player_id='2252157' first='Isaiah' last='Santos'] is a 6'5 small forward that plays for [program_tooltip program_id='2371255' first='AB' last='Elite'] EYBL out of Seven Lakes in Houston. Santos has been on a tear throughout this summer so far and displays impressive three level scoring ability. He has the capability to guard any position whether on the perimeter or inside the arc and one of his best aspects is his ability to get himself to the foul line and notch steals that he can turn into fastbreaks for [program_tooltip program_id='2371255' first='AB' last='Elite']. Isaiah has seen a big uptick in his recruiting this summer, picking up offers from Butler, Houston, Texas Tech, Colorado, and Minnesota. Santos over the course of EYBL play averaged 15 points, 8 rebounds, 2 assists, and 50% shooting from the field.     Nathaniel Muriithi is currently committed to New Mexico and showcased at Peach Jam what a steal he could be at the collegiate level. He grabs second chance rebounds and finishes strong in the paint to give Mokan Elite critical points and momentum as well as running his lane quickly and thundering home dunks on fastbreaks. His defense was great in crunch time, especially guarding opponents in the paint and timing his blocks to stop his matchup before they got to the basket. He has an underrated jumper from range and will make the defense pay if left open. His hustle for loose balls was also a huge factor in crunch time as well.     The part of Jasiah's game that stood out to me the post playing for PG Elite was his capability to shoot the three point ball. He moves quickly off the ball with high IQ and knows how to pick his spots where he can catch the defense sleeping from deep range. Jasiah can also handle the ball well under full court pressure and has the calm and poise to hurt opponents from either guard slot. His jumper has smooth mechanics on it and helps stretch the floor effectively for his team so they can play five out on offense and have flexibility on defense with Williams' lateral quickness to play passing lanes. Jasiah averaged 6 points, 3 rebounds, and 41% three point shooting over the EYBL season this grassroots summer.
