Early candidates for initial PA 2030 watch list (Pt. 2)

With the calendar soon turning to August and the start of the school year just several weeks away, we've begun compiling names of prospects to watch in the rising freshman class. Keep reading for a further look at a handful of candidates for our initial Class of 2030 watch list.    Considered to be in the early conversation for the top overall prospect in the national class, Moudouyi projects to make major waves in the Steel City region having recently relocated from New Jersey to attend Sewickley for his freshman year. A prototypical modern forward, the Congolese product is an athletic specimen with a skillset to play anywhere on the floor from the rim out to the perimeter. He thrives in the open floor where his physical and athletic gifts can take over, but his underlying skillset is fairly well-rounded to go with a steady motor on both ends of the court. Moudouyi is still finetuning his game and may need some time adapting to the speed of higher-level high school hoops but his future appears destined for the highest levels of the game.     Arguably the most athletic incoming freshman in the state, Meade has become known early on for his above-the-rim highlights as a dynamic downhill finisher. Given how strong and explosive he is at just 14, the scoring guard boasts an impressively robust skillset to compliment his physical gifts. He's capable of creating his own shot from scratch with a sturdy handle and polished footwork in 1-on-1 situations, capped off by prolific shotmaking ability from all over the floor. Meade's energy and athleticism figure to get him on the floor early for Judge, but it's the scoring punch he showed while playing up with [program_tooltip program_id='2078709' first='Team' last='Final']'s 15U on the EYBL stage that's gotten us most excited about his long-term outlook as a prospect.     While his backcourt mate at Imhotep gets more notoriety as perhaps the top 2030 guard in the state, Coleman has impressed as well with a strong set of building blocks as a promising long-term prospect in his own right. With solid positional size and dripping length, he's a fluid and athletic two-way guard who's shown an ability to consistently stay around the ball and make plays on both ends when given the chance so far in summer league and scholastic live period competition. Coleman plays with a grace and twitch to his game that really catches the eye and should give him a chance to grow into a consistent role by the time the calendar gets set to turn to the new year.     With his brother bursting onto high-major radars as a national breakout in the 2028 class, Federico is showing he may not be too far behind while establishing himself as one of the most promising incoming freshmen across the state. Having cut his teeth on the freshman team as an 8th grader this past winter, he looks ready to come right in and make a splash with the varsity, boasting a well-rounded two-way skillset with positional size, IQ, and confidence to match. Federico is able to slide across the positional spectrum with his shotmaking being the primary lynchpin of his game. He's still in the early stages of his physical development but looks to possess quite the upside as his body begins to mature over time.     Not necessarily among the handful of names often tossed around as the best 8th grade guards in Philadelphia, Simmons really caught the eye at the annual Jr. All City Classic event, where his robust offensive skillset led to a dazzling performance making plays from each level of the floor. The southpaw boasts a polished pullup arsenal with advanced pace playing out of ball screens and projectable size toward the D1 level down the line. It would be no shock at all to see Simmons as an immediate factor in the Burrs' rotation this winter.
