Ari Rosenfeld | Prep Hoops Scout
Not necessarily among the handful of names often tossed around as the best 8th grade guards in Philadelphia, Simmons really caught the eye at the annual Jr. All City Classic event, where his robust offensive skillset led to a dazzling performance making plays from each level of the floor. The southpaw boasts a polished pullup arsenal with advanced pace playing out of ball screens and projectable size toward the D1 level down the line. It would be no shock at all to see Simmons as an immediate factor in the Burrs’ rotation this winter.
