2029 Rankings: PF/C Depth

One of the trends that stood out to us the most while gathering and sorting the names is the depth this class has at the point guard spot. The wiry 6-foot-10 big man was most effective as a defense and rebounding presence for Compton Magic's 15u squad as his rim protecting instincts, mobility and ability to high point rebounds in traffic proved to be his biggest strengths over the spring and summer. The 6-foot-7 forward has an intriguing athletic and frame profile to go along with some perimeter shooting skill off the catch and the ability to attack the rim on straight-line drives. The 6-foot-7 forward/center brings a fundamental back-to-the-basket skill-set with soft touch on his right hand jump hook and has a strong base of footwork that he uses to his advantage down low. The strong-framed 6-foot-6 forward is very effective in face-up situations where he uses his ball skills, savvy pivot work and soft touch around the rim to score with finesse but he can also power through contact and score in a more bully-ball style.
