Expert Analysis
Devin Ugland | Prep Hoops Scout
Spurgiesz has some throwback big man feel to his game with his physical approach to the interior on both ends of the floor. The 6-foot-7 forward/center brings a fundamental back-to-the-basket skill-set with soft touch on his right hand jump hook and has a strong base of footwork that he uses to his advantage down low. Spurgiesz will likely be the focal point for the St. Augustine offense in the upcoming season which should spark his development.
