The 2028 class in Kentucky is one of the deeper ones that we have seen since Prep Hoops Kentucky launched over a decade ago. There's size and athleticism at every position. There are big time shooters. There are nationally ranked players and nearly 20 players with D1 offers already. In this latest update, there has been a LOT of movement as some kids have started to make their move towards the top while others are starting to fall behind. Here's a breakdown of the top Combo Guards in this update. This does not include any players who were already featured in our top ten articles.

A big, strong guard with a high prospect ceiling, Reddick continues to improve. Jett is at his best when he's getting downhill and attacking the paint on offense. With his size, Reddick is capable of switching across multiple positions on the defensive end. This could be a breakout year for Reddick.

Marshall missed his Sophomore season with an injury but has a on of long term potential. A bigger guard who can slash into the paint and finish through contact, Jeremiah has the potential to be a big time X factor in the 6th region title race. Prior to his injury, Marshall was a top 25 prospect and was trending up. Hopefully he is back to 100%.

Josh has had an impressive summer statistically for both Collins and Midwest Basketball Club. A scoring guard who can knock down shots or get into the paint, Cochran is likely to be the go-to player for the Titans as a Junior. Collins is a sleeper team to make some noise in the 8th region this season and Cochran could be an all region level player.

Kamden is primarily a shooting guard at this point in his career. As a Sophomore, Sanders made 43% of his threes and shot over three times more threes than twos for the season. Grayson County returns a lot from their Final 4 team last season but if Kamden can make some strides as a playmaker, the Cougars will be even better on offense than they were this past season. Improving as a creator will go a long way to boost Sanders' stock as a college prospect.

Sanders is a high level shooter who, like [player_tooltip player_id='2524568' first='Kamden' last='Sanders'], is primarily a shooting guard at this point. As a Sophomore, Parker attempted only 16 two point shots in 22 games. He hit 43% of his threes on the year and can heat up quickly. To take the next step in his progression, Parker will need to develop more off the bounce and show the ability to create off the dribble. As an elite shooter, Sanders has potential at the college level and should see some attention come his way as he continues his development over the next two years.
