The 2028 class in Kentucky is one of the deeper ones that we have seen since Prep Hoops Kentucky launched over a decade ago. There's size and athleticism at every position. There are big time shooters. There are nationally ranked players and nearly 20 players with D1 offers already. In this latest update, there has been a LOT of movement as some kids have started to make their move towards the top while others are starting to fall behind. Here's a breakdown of the top Centers in this update. This does not include any players who were already featured in our top ten articles.

Corey is a player I have had a high opinion of since I saw him playing in the 8th grade state tournament a few years back. A big body who knows how to use it and can also step out and shoot the ball, Cunagin continues to improve and is going to have a massive role for North Laurel over these next two years. Potentially, Corey could be the best big man in the region for the next two years and be a D1 recruit by this time next year.

Terry is an unknown as he just transferred into Kentucky from West Virginia. He was a top 8 player in the class in West Virginia prior to the move. After seeing Keaton in person last weekend, I can confirm that he is a massive individual with good footwork and can be a bruiser when he needs to be. We put him inside the top 30 as a starting point but I think Keaton could be a top 12 or better player in the next update depending on how he progresses.

CJ is a frustrating evaluation because he has all the potential in the world and shows it in flashes. With his size and soft touch, Thomas should be a top big man in Kentucky. If he gets his motor running, CJ is a high level prospect. Already 6'9" and still growing, Thomas has soft touch around the bucket and can be a dominant rebounder at times. The lefty big man has the ability to step out and shoot a little as well. Looking forward, Thomas could have a breakout season as a Junior at GRC. He has the tools to be a difference maker.

As a sophomore, Eubanks averaged just under a double double, missing it by a rebound per game. Noah is a big body with a lot of touch around the bucket. An "old school" big who does most of his damage around the rim, Eubanks shot 65% from the field as a Sophomore. In order to reach a high level college, Noah will need to develop a perimeter game as he only shot 3 threes last season. He's certainly a name to monitor. Especially in the 6th region.
