The 2027 class shrunk a little bit on Monday as Paterson Charter wing Jkhai Singletary transferred to Great Barrington Academy. The wing group still has potential to make a big impact on the hardwood this season as they look to take home hardware in their final varsity seasons. Here are the 2027 public school wings to track this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='2628254' first='Sebastian' last='Rogers'], 6'6 Ridgewood

Rogers has the ability to play either forward spot, which he should put on display this winter. The 6'6 forward has a good first step, which he uses to get to the rim off the bounce and can finish through contact. Rogers has a high release on his jumper and makes opponents pay for giving him space behind the arc. He is a strong rebounder and uses his length to influence shots around the rim. Rogers is a hardworking forward prospect who should impact that game at both ends of the floor throughout the course of the season.

[player_tooltip player_id='2845839' first='Zaier' last='Henry'], 6'6 Dickinson

Henry had a big summer and is looking to carry that over into the winter. The 6'6 forward elevates for dunks on the half court and has a nice touch around the rim. Henry has a nice release on his jumper and can get hot from distance. He is a force on the boards and uses his athleticism to make plays on the defensive end. Henry is a dynamic forward prospect who should rip down rebounds and finish strong around the rim throughout the course of the season.

[player_tooltip player_id='2201968' first='Mekhi' last='Jean-Pierre'], 6'5 Arts

Jean-Pierre has the ability to breakout this winter with his ability to make plays at both ends of the floor. The 6'5 wing is a tough on-ball defender as he uses his length to get deflections and influence shots around the rim. Jean-Pierre uses his handle to get to his spot on the floor and moves well without the ball in his hands. He is an underrated passer and sets his feet before he shoots. Jean-Pierre is a lanky wing prospect who should make plays on the perimeter defensively and score around the rim during the winter.

[player_tooltip player_id='3509541' first='Jayden' last='Doctor'], 6'3 Camden

Doctor had some big games down the stretch of his junior season and should carry that momentum over into his senior campaign. The 6'3 wing has a good face-up game as he can get to the rim off the bounce and his range extends out to the three-point line. Doctor can also get position down low and is an underrated passer out of the post. He fights for rebounds at both ends and holds his ground on the defensive end. Doctor is a physical forward prospect who should control the paint at both ends of the floor throughout the winter.

[player_tooltip player_id='2344529' first='Jariel' last='Garcia'], 6'2 Paterson Eastside

Garcia has the ability to play in the backcourt as well, making him an intriguing prospect to track in the class. The 6'2 wing has a good first step, which he uses to get to the rim off the bounce and finishes strong around the rim. Garcia moves well without the ball in his hands, freeing himself for open layups in the half court. He makes plays on the defensive end and rips down rebounds at both ends of the floor. Garcia is a versatile wing prospect who should fill up the stat sheet throughout the winter.
