Updated 2028 Rankings: RVA Wings (Part 2)

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>We recently updated our 2028 class rankings in Virginia, adding over 25 names in a class that continues to get better it seems like every day. Here's a look at part two of the wings from the Richmond area.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>#62) [player_tooltip player_id='3659463' first='Dizru' last='Utah'] | 6'5” SF | St. Chris</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:image {"id":3661131,"sizeSlug":"large","linkDestination":"media"} --> <figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><a href="https://prephoops.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/2/2026/06/IMG_8046.jpg"><img src="https://prephoops.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/2/2026/06/IMG_8046.jpg?w=1024" alt="" class="wp-image-3661131" /></a></figure> <!-- /wp:image --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Utah transferred to St. Chris and reclassified to the 2028 class after a big sophomore season with Deep Run, and the extra year should do well for him as he continues to improve and let his offensive skillset catch up with the rest of his game. He has the prototypical frame with long arms and an upper body that should fill out, he plays hard on both ends of the floor and is an excellent defender and rebounder, his shot looks a little funky but goes in at a good clip, and he is willing to do whatever it takes to help his team win.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>#91) [player_tooltip player_id='3483210' first='Cam' last='Pleasants'] | 6'1” SG | Benedictine</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:image {"id":3631382,"sizeSlug":"large","linkDestination":"media"} --> <figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><a href="https://prephoops.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/2/2026/05/Pleasants-Cam.jpg"><img src="https://prephoops.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/2/2026/05/Pleasants-Cam.jpg?w=1024" alt="" class="wp-image-3631382" /></a></figure> <!-- /wp:image --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Pleasants is having a great summer and should be on the verge of a breakout season next year for a talented Benedictine team. He's a scoring wing with great feel of how to get defenders off balance and attack them, he can make tough shots from multiple levels on the ball, he can move off the ball and works well to get open using screens and cuts, and he can jump passing lanes for easy buckets too.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>#108) [player_tooltip player_id='2919006' first='Colby' last='Gibbs'] | 6'3” SG | Trinity Episcopal</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Gibbs is part of a very deep TES team that will be a tough out for anyone in the Prep League this year, and he's going to fit right in for a team that needs shooting on the perimeter. The 6'3” guard has a good frame and is a good athlete who can get up and down in transition, he can knock it down from deep at a high clip off the catch, he can attack closeouts and get to the midrange pull-up, and he does a lot of things to help his team win on both ends too.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>#116) [player_tooltip player_id='3659537' first='Will' last='Zaudtke'] | 6'5” SF | Glen Allen</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Zaudtke is a new name that people will get familiar with this season on Glen Allen, as he'll have a lot more opportunities and is getting better every day he's out there. The 6'5” wing has a great frame and is a good athlete who can play above the rim in transition, he attacks downhill aggressively and plays through contact, he is improving on his consistency with his shot, and as he continues to get better he can be a big time two way impact guy.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>#117) [player_tooltip player_id='2548180' first='Harrison' last='Hazelgrove'] | 6'1” SG | Steward</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:image {"id":2552817,"sizeSlug":"large","linkDestination":"media"} --> <figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><a href="https://prephoops.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/2/2024/09/721-Harrison-Hazelgrove.jpg"><img src="https://prephoops.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/2/2024/09/721-Harrison-Hazelgrove.jpg?w=1024" alt="" class="wp-image-2552817" /></a></figure> <!-- /wp:image --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Hazelgrove is one of the best connectors in the Richmond area, as he is always finding a way to be impactful even if he doesn't put up crazy numbers every game. He is highly efficient as a shot maker both off the catch and off the bounce, he makes the right play consistently and has a high IQ on both ends of the floor, he plays with great energy and a good motor, and he's willing to fight for 50-50 balls and sacrifice his body too.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
