Pleasants is an athletic, high-scoring guard who impressed with Local Legends on the PUMA circuit throughout the summer. He consistently gets downhill and attacks the rim, where his strength and athleticism allow him to finish efficiently through contact. Pleasants also impacts the game on the glass and defensive end, where he rebounds well from the perimeter and competes at a high level. Also a football prospect, his combination of strength, athleticism and toughness translates well to both sports.

Cam Pleasants Cam Pleasants 6'1" | SG/PG Benedictine College | 2028 State VA had another phenomenal weekend for the Benedictine Cadets; he scored 28 points vs. Grace Christian and had 18 points and 5 rebounds vs. VA Academy. He is a very athletic combo guard who can score in transition, off the dribble, and is a very good catch-and-shoot player. Cam has stepped up big for the Cadets this summer as one of the key returners for the Cadets alongside Point Guard Chris Lamm. I fully expect Cam to continue to trend upward and gain traction in his recruitment moving forward. He helped lead the Cadets to a 4-0 weekend.

College coaches are always in search of shooting and Pleasants check that box with his ability to make shots off the catch or off the dribble. The rising junior earned his way into our updated rankings following an impressive spring with Local Legends. He can really make shots from the beyond the arc and is equally effective in the midrange. Pleasants uses his strength and athleticism to get into the paint and is adept at finishing off of two feet. The Benedictine wing is a high academic prospect in the 2028 class that college coaches should become familiar with.
