[program_tooltip program_id='2075672' first='Minnesota' last='Fury'] Goring defeated Hoop Habits by two points in the final game in a fun, well played game. They also defeated Titans Stone and Lightning Ellerbusch on their way to the weekend crown, a 28-3 ranking overall, and a second spot in the state rankings.

[program_tooltip program_id='2075431' first='D1' last='Minnesota'] went to Eau Claire and handled their opponents 76-46 (Midwest Renegade from Chicago), 76-39 (Playmakers East, a secondary Playmakers team), and 58-43 (the top Playmakers team). Improved to 16-6 on the year.

Team FSA went SIX and zero this weekend and won the title of the NHR State Tournament second division. FSA won three games by blowouts but also won two score games with Heat Thomsen and Showtime Elite, and they beat Minnesota BIG Elite by a point. Very good run winning all six games.

Top 4-1/3-1 RUNS

Hoop Habits worked their way to the title game of NHR State. They beat the Heat Stewartville team, knocked off the Southwest Stars, beat Fury Zurn, defeated the one seed North Dakota Phenom, and then came within a basket of beating Fury Goring. A quality four win weekend.

[program_tooltip program_id='2075672' first='Minnesota' last='Fury'] Zurn was short their coaching staff and their scholarship starting backcourt but still managed to grab three wins over the weekend. They beat Buffalo and Minnesota Gold, the one loss was to Hoop Habits.

[program_tooltip program_id='2075310' first='Northstar' last='Titans'] Stone. This group continues to make statements. They beat a good Comets Hondl team by 20+, they beat Select Fuerte by 14 points, and they gave Fury Goring a run before falling by four scores. A team consistently improving and moving up.

Good weekend for Elevate Skills in Wisconsin as they beat the Magic by ten (and for the second time this month which is also impressive), they beat one of the Playmakers teams, defeated the Renegade, and took [program_tooltip program_id='2075485' first='Gain' last='Elite'] to the end in a one score game.

Showtime Elite came up a couple scores away from winning their FOURTH straight title dating back to 2023 but they still made the finals in D2 once again. And they went an impressive 5-1 on the weekend and missed the final by two scores.

Next Week

There won't be a next week for some time. Sure there are always a smaller event or two that pop up in mid June but the season does not hit full swing until the GPA at the end of June, the Tune Up before the 4th and then the live period weekends following the 4th. We are pretty much on a four week break right now from the Grassroots/AAU/17u season.
