Stock Risers At Farmingdale Team Camp

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Farmingdale State college held their team camp this past week. it was run very smoothly . Here are some players who stood out.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>So allow me to give you some thoughts on the NBA championship. Even though I'm a New Yorker, I am a long time Laker fan. But Jalen Brunson has the best footwork to get off a shot since Walt Clyde Frazier, Earl the Pearl, and Dave Bing. Would say it's better but let's face it: today's NBA you can travel, which they called in the 1970's (yes they played basketball in the 70's). Why would you ever take out Wemby (if he's the face of the franchise )up 3 with 5 minutes to go and the Knicks are on a run, in an elimination game? If the Spurs ran offense just once down the stretch of any games, we would still be watching the NBA this week. Final point ! All the former players on TV know more about basketball then I'll ever know. But my thoughts on Wemby, the two things that make him special are his size and length. At the most importan time of the game, Brunson drives the lane and watch what Wemby does with all that height; he can't figure out do I step in or up. Or maybe just maybe use all that reach you have and put up at least one arm . That's what your there for. Use your size play big! He looked lost on that play. But as far as a highly skilled player; please watch him handle the ball on the open floor, open up on a screen and roll to the rim, pass the ball on the move , set high ball screens. I know the game is different and no doubt it's great and he might just well be one of the best when his career is over but right now I think he has a ways to go. Wouldn't make him the face of the NBA quite yet. Shoots it really well with nice ball rotation out of his hand. Above average athleticism. Scores the ball inside or out. Very capable playmaker. High level shooter. Defensively he has the ability to guard multiple positions. A pass first pg. He combines good court vision and awareness with the ability to thread the needle on a pass or zip it off the bounce. He understands the importance of running the offense with the awareness to pick his spots to score the ball himself.
