He is very tough and was constantly pressuring opposing ball handlers, forcing them into mistakes. He was able to generate several fast break layups for himself and teammates. He can score the ball as well, having a knockdown jump shot and the fearlessness to attack larger defenders. Wilson and teammates were swarming to the ball and were jumping passing lanes for steals. This led to a lot of opportunities in transition, where Demarius thrived, he could get to the basket or find a teammate inside for an open layup. He has solid size for a guard in his age group, listed at 6-foot. He is a good ball handler and impressed with his vision, setting up his teammates well. He is very tough to stop when he gets it going, as I saw him go on a very quick 8-0 run for his team. He is a very confident shooter, as he has deep range and was making the defense pay for giving him any space. He has great touch around the basket, being able to finish at full speed with either hand from a variety of angles. He was very effective on the boards, cleaning up misses on both ends of the floor. He went up strong on finishes around the basket, being able to finish through contact or draw a foul.
