I had the opportunity to evaluate him extensively at our National Camp this year, along with seeing him put together a strong performance at the AAU World Championships. He has established himself as a high-level shooter who plays with very good basketball IQ, while consistently showing impressive poise and decision-making under pressure. If he continues on his current developmental trajectory and keeps expanding his overall game, I can easily see him making a significant jump this season and establishing himself as one of the top shooters and guards in the 2032 class.

Murphy looks like he is one of the top 2032 prospects in Minnesota, as he impressed with his team playing up a year. He is very tough to stop when he gets it going, as I saw him go on a very quick 8-0 run for his team. He is a very confident shooter, as he has deep range and was making the defense pay for giving him any space. The incoming 7th grader also has IQ and a feel for the game well beyond his years, making smart plays all weekend.

Murphy has skills and IQ well beyond his years, as the incoming 7th grade guard dominated playing his age group. He was automatic when given any space, but could also hunt for his shot, connecting on a few difficult looks.
