impressed me tremendously during the 5-on-5 portion of camp. Standing at 5’0″, Pierce plays much bigger than his size and competes with tremendous heart and toughness. He consistently used his exceptional ball-handling ability to get past defenders and attack the rim, where he finished remarkably well through contact and over bigger opponents. His quickness and ability to create off the dribble made him difficult to contain throughout the camp. Defenders can’t simply back off to take away his speed, either, as Pierce has proven to be a capable shooter who can make opponents pay when given space. Pierce is an exciting young guard with a relentless motor and a fun, energetic style of play that makes him easy to root for. He’s definitely a player to keep an eye on moving forward.
