The Prep Hoops Indiana State Tournament provided plenty of opportunities for players to make statements. The Prep Hoops Indiana staff had boots on the ground all weekend checking out a lot of very talented prospects. Here is part four of my player notes.

A intriguing forward that I had a chance to watch over the weekend at the Prep Hoops Indiana State Tournament was [player_tooltip player_id='3587087' first='Levi' last='Flowers'] of Hamilton Southeastern HS. This was my first time getting a chance to watch this 6'4 prospect and for me, it was his elite rebounding that I cam away most impressed with. He fights hard on the glass while being a very mobile big man, running the floor very well. Even more impressive that he was playing up a grade as well being a 2029 prospect on a the Refined 16U Blue team.

Without question, Marcell Jackson was one of the top bigs that I had a chance to watch this past weekend at the Prep Hoops Indiana State Tournament. He is an under-the-radar big, but will immediately make you take notice of him with his large size under the basket. He does not jump out athletically but he plays with great fundamentals for a big taking up a lot of space on both ends. A consistent finisher that knows how to draw contact and get free throw chances.

One of my favorite under-the-radar guards to watch in the Indiana Class of 2028 is [player_tooltip player_id='2823963' first='Kyron' last='Johnson']. Playing for Indiana Elite - Team Crossroads 16U now, Johnson is still the main man in the backcourt most of the time being the guy that is always going to get things going for his team. Just an elite guard when it comes to on-court feel, quickness, and just getting downhill. Looks to have added some size to his frame and looked real good disrupting passing lanes. A guard to keep an eye on moving forward.

A big man with a ton of upside that I had a chance to watch at the PH Indiana State Tournament over the weekend was [player_tooltip player_id='2451395' first='Damauri' last='Crosby'] of Jeffersonville HS. Crosby is a 6'7 power froward that plays with bounce when he is on the floor for Indiana Elite - Team Tradition 16U. Super long player that is still a little raw in some areas but plays hard on both ends. His overall skill has improved and he could be in for a breakout sooner than later as far as bigs in the 2028 class.

A guy that played like he was a man on a mission from the opening tip was 2028 guard [player_tooltip player_id='2560369' first='Grayson' last='Alvey'] of Center Grove HS. Playing with [program_tooltip program_id='2559412' first='Marlin' last='Academy'] this spring, I got a chance to watch him at the PH Indiana State Tournament being one of the more impressive prospects I saw the enitre weekend. He was great on the attack being a really good finisher as well as finding easy dish-offs to the frontcourt, as well. Real tough yet smooth mid-ranger jumper as well.
