Oregon Summer League: 27′ And 28′ Primary Guards

I was in attendance for this week's games getting to checkout half of the teams in the league. Proper frame for a next level wing spot. Passes it like a point guard. Skip pass on break, feeds the post, dribble drive and kickout, and overall sees the floor with plus court vision as a combo guard. Smooth operator. Has a scoring feel knack as well. Silky release from 3 off catch and shoots. Efficient finisher at the rim on multiple takes to the hole. Won't force the equation and let's the game come to him. Really takes a liking to that end. Had him down for at least a half dozen steals while also getting in the passing lane for tips or coming up with jump balls. Runs the sidelines aggressively while looking for gaps during transition. Made a great give and go assist within ½ ct flow. Efficient finisher at the cup. Volume driver with solid handle. Will crash from the guard spot. Had a tough tip in off of teammates miss to time it correctly right at the rim. Has some twitchiness and quickness to his handle. Poised with the rock after the catch to see the floor. Converted on a jab step baseline drive finish off the glass. Showcased shooting touch beyond the arc as well with a couple spot up 3's in rhythm.
