NorCal 2027 Rankings Update: Newcomers

PH NorCal has updated the class of 2027 rankings, we've added a good number of newcomers 40 to the rankings. Some are prospects we're seeing for the first time while playing Spring and high school basketball with their teams. Here at PH NorCal we'll always try to see as many new prospects as we can.    He's the highest ranking newcomer in the 2027 Class. He's not new to us just the class. He's a strong body post player that has improved his overall post game. Not just improved footwork, but his patience along with the ability to score around the rim when he's not dunking. He's a legitimate target on the low block. He's rebounding on both ends, changing shots and defending his position. He's a presence. He's a double double at this level.     He's a confident guard from the Sacramento Area with a skill set to sufficiently run point guard. He has handles, vision and the ability to breakdown defenders, decide to score or find open mates when entering the paint. He'll be asked to do more with his ability to put points on the board in different situations. He'll drop a 3 from the perimeter, or come down in transition. He has speed and leverage to disrupt the defense.     He's a long wiry prospect with improving skills. In the Spring we've seen him operate away from the basket, ball handling, passing, moving without the ball, he'll make cuts to the basket, he'll shoot an open 3ptr. He has good activity around the rim, an active rebounder, gets the putback. His inside scoring should tick up. He's a high post passer. He has the length to defend the post.     He played his way off the Watch List after having a productive Spring. He's an all around guard with a good fundamental skill set. He's sort of crafty handling the basketball, can find ways to generate a bucket. He's an excellent shooter from mid-range out past the 3-point line. He's good in transition, will stop a pop a mid-range, or find open mates with his good passing.     He's a prospect working under our radar. We've seen him once in the Early Spring. By all accounts he's one of the better guard prospects in the Placer Area on the other side of Sacramento before Nevada. He averaged 17pts, 5.8 assists, 4.9 rebs, 2stls a game this past season. He helped lead his team to a SJS DIII Championship. He's in the 1000pt Club.     One of the better guards from the Oakdale Area. First team all-league, averaged 17pts per game. He plays within the flow knowing he'll get a good number of shot opportunities. He's a mover/cutter, makes use his screens, a willing passer, with good ball movement around the perimeter. He's got a few dribble drive moves to get into the paint. In a recent outing he lit the scoreboard up for more than 7 made 3's with his high arching shot with range.     A solid combo guard who's on the upswing as far as point production. He'll look to add more to the scoring column. He's a contributor with a good set of ball handling and passing, he moves the ball around the perimeter, feeds the post. He's taking and making shots in different ways this Spring getting to the basket along the perimeter, splitting defenders, avoiding charge, he'll knock down open 3's. He's a control player, plays within the flow, but at a good pace.     He's grown a few inches, has played his way off the Watch List with his solid play on the court this Spring. He can play positions 1-3. In this system he looks well fit to work along perimeter looking to knock down set shot 3-pointers, moving the ball around the perimeter, setting screens and making cuts to finish around the rim. He can dribble along the baseline and other spots to get paint points. He's good in transition, running, passing, and finding spots to pass or shoot. He's lengthy, helps trap up top.
