About Najee

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I like to play my pace of basketball. I would always rather get to the rim instead of shooting a jump shot but can knock down jump shots when needed. I love getting my teammates involved.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am a super determined leader and an outgoing person. I will put someone in their place if they are not doing what they need to be doing and do that with respect.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am involved in BSU, the Black Student Union at my school. I have recieved a Fab Falcon award for being an honest individual at school, for cleaning up trash around campus and returning lost items to the office.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have developed outstanding leadership on and off the court, by always wanting to help people succeed in many ways.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I have faced many challenges, such as losing my father at 9 years old, and one of my best friends, my team mate at 17 years old.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a college that fits my personal needs, in academics, community, and in sports.

A solid combo guard who’s on the upswing as far as point production. He’ll look to add more to the scoring column. He’s a contributor with a good set of ball handling and passing, he moves the ball around the perimeter, feeds the post. He’s taking and making shots in different ways this Spring getting to the basket along the perimeter, splitting defenders, avoiding charge, he’ll knock down open 3’s. He’s a control player, plays within the flow, but at a good pace.
