He doesn't need a play called for him because he sores for offensive rebounds and feasts on cuts to the basket. He also has the movement skills to disrupt the other team's primary offensive threat. His sense of downhill urgency and movement ability usually result in a high volume of shots in the paint. And because he lives in transition, King routinely plays above the rim with a tomahawk dunk or an alley oop. But it shouldn't be mistaken, his jumper is his greatest asset. Lopez hits threes in clusters. With his impressive wingspan and feel on that side of the ball, he quickly racks up blocks and steals. In one stretch, Riley can lock down the best player, then, in another, he can clean up mistakes as his team's defensive anchor. And, lacking no aggression offensively, Riley wins with his tools.
