Hoopseen High School Finale Friday Standouts.

The HoopSeen High School Finale tipped off Friday night with no shortage of standout performances as prospects from across Georgia and the Southeast put their talents on display. From explosive scoring outings to all-around performances that impacted winning, here are the players who made the biggest impression during Friday's action.    Brock is the complete package at the two guard position and has one of the more polished offensive skill sets in the 2028 class. He is a high-level scorer who is effective with the ball in his hands or working without it, constantly finding ways to put pressure on opposing defenses. His speed and change of direction allow him to weave through traffic and finish at the rim. His ability to create separation makes him a difficult cover in isolation. From the perimeter, Brock is a dangerous shooter who can catch fire in a hurry, whether he's spotting up or creating his own looks off the bounce. His shot making ability stands out and gives him the potential to take over games offensively. Brock finished Friday night with 22 points in a tight loss to Habersham Central. With his combination of scoring ability, and multi-level scoring Johns Creek has a prospect who should be on the radar of college programs. He has all the tools to be a major steal at the next level.     Harris is a nicely sized wing with a long frame and offensive versatility. He scores the ball on all three levels efficiently, using his size to drive the ball and put pressure on interior defenses. He finished well through contact as well connecting on multiple and one drives that boosted his teams offense. He is just as effective in the midrange game, getting to his spot off the dribble and raising up over defenders using his size. Off the ball he provides valuable floor spacing finding open looks from beyond the arc and knocking them down at a high clip. He finished the day with a monster performance in game one with 24 points and 8 rebounds in a win over Habersham Central, followed up by another solid performance against Johns Creek tallying 17 points.     Woltemar is a knockdown shooter that can light you up from beyond the arc in the blink of an eye. He has a fiery spirit and moves well off the ball to find open looks that he knocks down at a high percentage from beyond. He also had a couple of nice finishes around the basket attacking high hand closeouts attempting to run him off the line to get in the lane. With the ball in his hands he is a solid passer and a guy capable of playing the lead guard role. On defense his high energy comes into play making a lot of scrappy plays on and off the ball to create turnovers and extra possessions for his team often leading the break in transition to score.     Spearman is a quick, shifty combo guard who puts constant pressure on opposing transition defenses with his speed and ability to score in the open floor while also creating easy looks for teammates. He thrives when the pace picks up, forcing defenders into difficult decisions as he attacks downhill and consistently finds ways to finish at the rim. From the perimeter, he is a reliable knockdown shooter who can make defenses pay for going under screens or helping off of him. His ability to score both off the dribble and off the catch makes him a versatile offensive weapon who can impact the game with or without the ball in his hands. He also has a great feel for the game, knowing when to hunt his own shot and when to facilitate for others, making him an effective secondary playmaker. As he continues to add strength and develop physically, Spearman has all the tools to become a complete backcourt prospect with the ability to affect winning in a variety of ways.     2027 guard Qua Watson had the best individual performance of the night, exploding for 30 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 assists in a win over Greenbrier. Watson was control offensively, showing his ability to score at all three levels and making life difficult Greenbriers defense. He connected on four three pointers, confidently stepping into shots from the perimeter, while also attacking the paint with strength and body control to finish through contact. His ability to create offense off the dribble and capitalize in transition kept constant pressure on the defense throughout the night. Watson never seemed to force the action, instead letting the game come to him while consistently making winning plays. Performances like this continue to show why he is one of the more productive 2027 guards to keep an eye on moving forward.
