Franklin College ID Camp | Friday Players to Watch

Franklin College opens its doors Friday for its annual Basketball ID Camp, giving high school prospects an opportunity to compete in front of the Grizzlies coaching staff and showcase their skills in a Division III environment. With players from multiple classes expected to attend, here are some of the names worth keeping an eye on as they look to make an impression in Franklin.    Big time scorer out of Bremen that's having a big start to his spring for [program_tooltip program_id='2471005' first='Legacy' last='Ice Elite'] 2027. Devine is a big frame guard that's able to get buckets in a variety of different ways. Really good shooter off the catch while having the ability to get to any spot on the floor. Comfortable in the midrange and has shown to rise up over defenders while also using his strength to get in the paint and finish through contact.     Heady guard out of Corydon Central that I've gotten to see a handful of times in the last couple years. High IQ guard that plays at his own pace and doesn't sped up. Runs the show on the offensive end balancing scoring and facilitating. Really good shooter that can knock shots off the catch and off the dribble. Good defender that plays with active hand and always seems to be in the right place at the right time.     A long and physical 6'2” guard that is wired to score. Knows how to get to his spots. Does a good job using his body to play through contact and finishes at a high level around the rim. Capable of playing out of the post to exploit mismatches. Soft touch in the midrange with a smooth shot with range that goes out to the three-point line. Defensively he guards multiple positions and plays with a high motor. Solid rebounder on both ends of the floor that should be in for a big time senior season.     A big man that is just scratching the surface of how good he can be. A mobile big man that has shown the ability to play inside-out offensively. Good shooting stroke from the perimeter that is a legit threat to knock down open catch and shoot 3's. Improving post game. Good hands that has shown a soft touch over his left shoulder. Tons of defensive upside with his length and mobility. Aggressive rebounder on the defensive end that as he gets stronger will only continue to improve.     A long 6'3” wing that has been really good this spring helping lead Indiana Basketball Club qualify for 3SSB Championship in July. He's a talented scorer that does damage from all three level. Smooth stroke from the perimeter shooting 53%| this spring. Really good midrange scorer that gets to his spot. Fundamentally sound player on both sides of the ball that impacts the game in a variety of different ways.     Crafty scoring guard out of Peru that plays with a high motor. Really good decision maker that pushes the tempo and always plays with his eyes up ready to make the right play. Gets in the lane where he scores it around the rim in a variety of different ways. Operates in the pick and roll aggressively and unselfish with intriguing court vision.
