Stepping in as a late fill‑in team from the 3A ranks, Lamar showed up confident and ready. The experience of their trio set the tone and helped them compete at a high level. [player_tooltip player_id='2776476' first='Kendrick' last='Carr'] played with maturity and poise. He moved well without the ball, picked his spots off the dribble, and showed growth in his approach on offense. His patience stood out. He didn't force actions, instead reading defenders, attacking when the lane opened. [player_tooltip player_id='3010610' first='Kade' last='Boen'] brought the length, slashing ability, and athletic pop that make him such an intriguing wing. He attacked the lane with good hands and smooth body control, finishing through traffic with his long, slim frame. In one game, he threw down a big dunk that energized the group and knocked down catch‑and‑shoot looks from the perimeter, showing the versatility in his scoring package. Easton Leeds has really come into his own. He knocked down shots with confidence and played with strong effort on both ends. He hunted rebounds, competed defensively, and played as a complementary piece. His energy and shot‑making helped balance the offense.

The Bulldogs showed up and scrapped, fought, and competed through six tough games with a roster light on seniors, allowing the Springdale 2028 group to step into leading roles. [player_tooltip player_id='2899728' first='Orion' last='Leautu'] anchored everything inside. He battled on the glass, carved out space in the paint, and gave guards room to operate by sealing defenders and creating driving lanes. He ran the floor with purpose and showed composure passing out of pressure when teams packed the paint on him. Marco Johnson was the eye‑catcher of the group. His agility, vision, and passing angles stood out immediately. He plays with a smooth, controlled pace, getting into the paint with change‑of‑speed attacks and setting teammates up with well‑timed reads. He was the connector piece that kept their offense flowing. [player_tooltip player_id='2948754' first='Darnell' last='Manuel Jr']. brought the toughness on the perimeter. He's a true two‑way guard that played fast, physical, and competitive. In transition he was either handling the ball or filling his lane and finishing. In the half court he played unselfishly, moving the ball, making the right reads, and giving them a steady presence on both ends.

Bentonville West - [player_tooltip player_id='3068447' first='Jordan' last='Randolph'], [player_tooltip player_id='3536194' first='Asher' last='Hill'], [player_tooltip player_id='3536200' first='Evan' last='Adjam']

Bentonville West was one of the younger groups on the floor, and it showed in a good way they leaned into their youth, putting 2029 prospects [player_tooltip player_id='3536194' first='Asher' last='Hill'] and [player_tooltip player_id='3536200' first='Evan' last='Adjam'] into the starting lineup alongside returning 2027 guard [player_tooltip player_id='3068447' first='Jordan' last='Randolph']. The reps they're getting now will pay off later. Randolph picked up right where he left off last season. He led as a playmaker, attacking gaps, getting downhill, and looking for his perimeter shots when he was off the ball. His comfort level running the offense stood out. [player_tooltip player_id='3536194' first='Asher' last='Hill'] handled the interior responsibilities and showed more layers to his offensive game. He worked around the rim with confidence, flashed some inside‑out skill, and wasn't afraid to put the ball on the floor. For a young big, he showed poise. Evan filled the other guard spot and brought energy on both ends. He pushed the break when he had space, finished in transition, and played with strong effort defensively. The upside is clear, he is a two‑way wing in the making, as he grows into his frame and continues to tighten his skill.

Greenbrier - Carter Luebkey, [player_tooltip player_id='2413855' first='Gavin' last='Wallace'], [player_tooltip player_id='2885277' first='Sam' last='Palmer']

It may have been a surprise to a few people, but the size of Greenbrier led by frontcourt duo of Carter Luebke and [player_tooltip player_id='2885277' first='Sam' last='Palmer'], both standing at least 6'6" was hard to ignore. Their presence and ability to play inside out helped maintain a steady competitive play both days. They controlled space, finished around the rim, and stretched the floor well enough to keep defenders honest. [player_tooltip player_id='2413855' first='Gavin' last='Wallace'] set the table for everyone. He played well off the bigs pick‑and‑roll and pick‑and‑pop actions, showing he can read coverage and make the right decision. Wallace also flashed reliability as a shot‑maker off the dribble, knocking down jumpers when defenders went under or hesitated.
