On Saturday May 23rd I watched 10 games with 12 different 17U teams and eight 16U teams.

I made 6 All-Tourney Teams for the teams I viewed.

Here is the 4th Team

[player_tooltip player_id='3649411' first='Jamore' last='Currie'] Mountain Pointe (El Parque 17) (Pictured)

A newcomer is a defensive wing can shoot it from the three and dribble drive and score inside with reverses. He will drive and kick it often as he always seems to touch the paint and find a teammate in stride. He rebounds well in his area and moves well in space. He runs the floor well and he is a quick leaper to throw it down.

[player_tooltip player_id='1873694' first='Tyrese' last='Holmes'] Brophy Prep (SMAC 17)

A two-way wing loves getting downhill and scoring thru the contact. He will hit the three and he is a good passer up the court. He rebounds well and is quick on the ball defensively. Look for him to get some nice minutes on varsity this season and play a couple positions for the Broncos.

[player_tooltip player_id='2365144' first='Cameron' last='Koehler'] Casteel (AZ Premier 17)

A bigger combo guard who can play either guard spot. He is a good passer and will score. The lefty can fill it up with step back threes and pull-ups from mid to the three. He runs the floor well and will kiss it off the glass on the break. His IQ, feel and skill will give him a bigger role this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='2552784' first='Emir' last='Konicanin'] Paradise Valley ([program_tooltip program_id='2075793' first='Arizona' last='Select'] 17)

A thicker wing forward with skill, toughness and a big IQ. He will score with threes off the catch, offensive rebound put backs using his bigger frame and decent size, rip thrus in traffic, downhill takes and he manages to get to the free throw line. He could have a break season this year.

[player_tooltip player_id='3649450' first='Manny' last='Ramirez'] Campo Verde (BC Hoops 17)

Another newcomer for me is a tough undersized guard who fights inside for rebounds and he is a good on-ball defender with his quick hands and aggressive play. Offensively he scores with threes off the catch, inside put backs, euro steps, bursts and can change speeds well. He smartly plays off of two-feet and will score or make a play.

Ethan Sang SF 6'5 2026 Benjamin Franklin ([program_tooltip program_id='2075793' first='Arizona' last='Select'] 17)

A long and very young senior wing forward who just turned 17 and played the full season at 16 years old. He uses his length and size to rebound at a good clip in and out of his area. He is a sneaky good passer and will score with dunks, tough takes scoring thru the contact and threes off the catch.

Sang will go to a CC or do a post grad being on the younger side.

[player_tooltip player_id='2747424' first='Henry' last='Short'] Arcadia (SMAC 17)

A strong framed power forward with long arms and broad shoulders with real toughness. He will carve out space to rebound and scores thru heavy contact with some weight room type of layups and girth. He can rip thru and grab rebounds with his toughness and his sticky fingers. His toughness and skill shine in every game.
