On Saturday May 23rd I watched 10 games with 12 different 17U teams and eight 16U teams.

I made 6 All-Tourney Teams for the teams I viewed.

Here is the 3rd Team

[player_tooltip player_id='3649414' first='Daniel' last='Andrade'] Cesar Chavez (El Parque 17)

A newcomer for me is a quick undersized point guard who can fill it up and facilitate. He will score it with off the dribble threes, catch threes and quick blow by's. He will throw dimes to his teammates with some slick passes using the pick and roll game to his advantage. He will also collect steals with his quick hands and feet.

[player_tooltip player_id='3649400' first='Mason' last='Malim'] SwyshDen (Swyshden Select 17) (Pictured)

A newcomer moved in from Baltimore, MD. He is a very long and lean power forward with quick twitch and plus athleticism. He will play from inside and out with threes off the catch and score with offensive rebound put backs, explosive dunks and will grab rebounds in and out of his area.

[player_tooltip player_id='3649355' first='Mangar' last='Mangar'] Millennium (Westside Warriors 16)

Another newcomer for me is a long power forward who is very fluid and will dunk it easily on the break. He explodes up with real twitch but also has some skill. He can also fall away from mid-range, which is his favorite move and he is a good passer out of the double team.

[player_tooltip player_id='2907245' first='CJ' last='Rodriguez'] Tempe ([program_tooltip program_id='3141187' first='Golden' last='Gators'] 16)

A combo guard who can make plays but he is a natural scorer. He will fill it up with cuts off the ball, quick bursts to the basket, corner threes, reverse layups and he has an almost automatic mid-range pull-up. Look for him to make some noise on varsity next season.

[player_tooltip player_id='2292815' first='Jamar'e' last='Stoudemire'] NFL YET (AZ Legacy Elite 17)

A longer power forward with broader shoulders and super quick twitch. He uses his length and bounce to clean the glass and score it with way above the rim dunks, offensive rebound put backs and powerful tip dunks. He keeps plays alive on the glass and runs the floor well. He moves in space and will block shots on defense.

[player_tooltip player_id='2957459' first='Meqhi' last='Teutsch'] Maryvale ([program_tooltip program_id='3141187' first='Golden' last='Gators'] 16)

A long wing forward who can play multiple positions. He will gobble up balls with his length and natural reach and plays the passing lanes to collect steals. He will score with long strides to the basket, threes off the catch or pull and offensive rebound put backs. He also dunks it easily on the break. He will get his chance on varsity next season.

[player_tooltip player_id='3625560' first='Jamal' last='Wargu'] Bella Vista Prep (AZ Legacy Elite 17)

A super long defensive guard who scores plus defends multiple positions. He takes long strides to the basket with his fluidity and leaps up to score it in traffic. He can hit the three off the catch and flies on the break with his handle and speed. He collects steals, block shots and rebounds.
