A Look at Some Standout 13U Guards at the Summer Championship

He plays with a good combination of speed and court savvy. He was setting up teammates with his passing skills in transition and in the half-court game. His court vision was excellent as he distributed the ball very well. He has a nice smooth drive with the pull up jumper off the glass from 10-12 feet. He did a good job of getting downhill on the dribble and he stayed in attack mode. He was also hitting the 3-pointer off the rhythm dribble. He was excellent on the defensive end as he sat down and pressured the ball very well. He plays well off the ball to get himself open for perimeter shots. He even ran the court in transition to create some open looks for himself. He plays the game at different speeds to keep defenders off balance. His handles were tight and he was scoring on quick, penetrating moves in the lane.
