2028 Update: Final AAAA New Names to Know

Milan is a three sport athlete to know from Blaine. He is a quality wide receiver prospect at 6'4/6'5 and 200 pounds, a quality track athlete, and a basketball player that was on the JV as a sophomore. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2839191' first='Alec' last='Deah'] of Monticello/[program_tooltip program_id='2075310' first='Northstar' last='Titans']. Deah was the fifth leading scorer for the 20 win Magic team last year averaging over seven points a contest as a 6'1 sophomore guard. One of the hardest working players I saw in 16u all season, Alex attacked, rebounded, defended hard and did a ton of everything to help the Titans .</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2452936' first='Paxton' last='Engelby'] of Andover/[program_tooltip program_id='2075672' first='Minnesota' last='Fury'] Shepherd. Engelby is one of the players that you either know he can shoot so you find them quick, or you didn't know he can shoot and you hits a couple threes forcing the defense to change. A shooter with the touch but also the ball skills to handle too. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2860203' first='Andrew' last='Leaf'] of Anoka/Minnesota Gold. Leaf is a raw big working to improve that played JV last year, but he also played a bit of varsity and had a ten point game against Benilde-St. Margaret's. He is 6'8 and working to improve. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='3672274' first='Landen' last='Riewer'] of Bemidji. Landen was the lone underclassmen playing on the Bemidji JV/V last season and he's an agile 6'5 that has the potential to be a good face-up player. Lateral quicks, quickly gets up and down, and can hit a three here and there. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2782403' first='Henry' last='Semans'] of Blaine. Henry is a 6'1 guard that was all league as a sophomore averaging nearly 14 points a game for a good Blaine team. He made just over a third of his threes and did a great job finishing on the move. Good basketball player and a very good baseball prospect.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2844066' first='Tommy' last='Serakos'] of Andover/[program_tooltip program_id='2075672' first='Minnesota' last='Fury'] Shepherd. Tommy has grown to be a 6'4 wing that has retained the guard skill to shoot and attack but has the length to finish over players more now that he has grown. Tommy averaged five points a game for varsity this season. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2492911' first='Dewayne' last='Sims'] of Brainerd. Sims made his way into the varsity rotation last year as a 5'9 guard that scored 7.5 points per game. A speedy player that can run with the best and laterally disrupt, Sims is a three sport athlete that is in track and football as well. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Isaiah Thomas-Rainey of Coon Rapids/PGA. A 5'9 guard that scored four points a game on the varsity, Isaiah found his way on to the varsity floor on most nights but also helped the JV getting time there too. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
