Wisconsin state tournaments, day one 15u standouts.

Day one was packed with top performances, highlight plays, and down-to-the-wire games. Below are some of the best performers from day one across the 15u category.      Cooper came to play in his game against Chapman. He started off the game with back to back layups to get his scoring started. He followed that up with a rim grazing dunk through traffic to help give his team some momentum. Once the second half started, Cooper went off. He started it with a hitting an open three followed by a tough and one through traffic. He continued to score like this for the rest of the game and polished Power 5's dominant win with a dunk in transition. He is definitely a player to look out for this summer. With a 6'4 lanky build, he can knock down threes, block shots, and finish over his defenders at a high percentage.     Alongside his teammate [player_tooltip player_id='2475616' first='Cooper' last='Foeckler'], Collins was causing havoc against the defense today. He finished the first half against Chapman with 12 points, 6 of them from three. But his defense is what made him stand out. He forced multiple turnovers and was always flying around trying to get steals. He continued his scoring by hitting 2 more threes with a handful of layups. He completely took over in the second half and didn't need to play the last 6 minutes due to his dominance. He is a player that everyone wants on their team. He is a great team leader and he can go get a bucket whenever his team is in need of one.     Cort was lights out from three today. He started his first game knocking down a deep three and followed it up by finishing a tough and one layup. He was also in every passing lane, getting multiple steals that led to either him or his teammates finishing in transition. He continued this into the second half by hitting 3 more threes and making a midrange fadeaway. His offense was incredible, but his defense is what made him stand out. Being able to run around the court, getting rebounds, stealing passes, and falling on the ground all while barely getting tired is what amazed me. It seemed like he was never tired, which amazed me.     Brady looked like a man amongst boys today and made everything he did look easy. Even though he didn't start, he still came off the bench with that fire and got to work quickly. He grabbed 4 offensive rebounds and went right back up with all of them, finishing them. He then showed off his range for his size and hit a contested three to help extend his team's lead. He continued his dominance in the second half by being more of a rim protector and rebounder. He racked up 3 blocks, which led to his team getting easy transition opportunities. With his size and being able to be a three-level scorer, there is no doubt he will have a great summer leading into his high school season.     Kamden was a surprising player today in their win against [program_tooltip program_id='2139004' first='Team' last='Haliburton']. He was able to finish inside and get multiple and one opportunities. He also showed off his range by hitting a corner three to keep him on fire. He was also doing the dirty work all around by getting on the floor for loose balls and running around trying to get steals. He finished the game with double-digit scoring and played heavy minutes.
